Can you Survive a Horror Story?

The game is like it sounds. Essentially the Game Master, probably me (at least at first), creates a scenario and the player has to find the way to survive.

First: They explain the setting and the items you have:
e.g. You enter an old mansion and the door shuts behind you. You have your phone and a flashlight. What do you do?

Second: The player explains what they want to do, has to be within reason of what their character, often themselves, could feasibly do:
e.g. I want to try and call the police. - Correct.
e.g. I want to fly around the room and punch out the door. - Incorrect.

Third: The Game Master explains what happens, try not to be too mean, always give them a chance to survive:
e.g. You try to call the police but you have no service. - Correct.
e.g. You try to call the police but your phone explodes and you die. - Incorrect.

Then just repeat until the player either survives or dies.

I already have five scenarios that we could play if you want. To avoid spoilers but give you some choice, here's the starting locations:
1. Mansion
2. House
3. Cabin
4. Forest
5. Island

I once had someone who wanted to play flappy bird on their phone for a while, which led to some fun antics and them getting their leg cut off.
