OC: Klarah> The Erulsian Queen.


Name: Klarah Glacius.

Latin translation: Bright Ice.

Age: Looks between 23–25

Position: Queen of the Northern kingdom of Erulsia.

Sexuality: Bisexual. (Male lean.)

Appearance: Striking white hair falls to her waist, pin straight, the ends curling and moving on their own volition. Bright silver eyes are framed by high cheekbones that elevate her features. Decades of training have kept her form lean, though not at the expense of muscle. Her waist is slim, and thighs toned due to the immense amount of physical training she subjected herself to, when the late King Morevus fell ill of the plague, and died when Klarah was only 13.


History: As the eldest daughter of the Glacius family, Klarah was prepared to rule the kingdom at a very young age. She learnt all the skills and politics required to do so, and excelled proficiently in defending herself with two double-bladed swords that her father gifted her from his collection.


Whilst not completely capable with all forms of weapons, she favours lighter blades over heavier melee weapons. Klarah was also exceptional at hand to hand combat, and to this day what she lacks in strength she makes up for in speed despite her petite stature.


Her mother Neveah remained a mentor when the King died until she too perished of the Titus flu that was brought by an infestation of rats from the incoming trade lines. The ships had moved across the northern region to gain oats and wheat from the neighbouring countries and to establish trade with other countries. These brought new diseases that ravaged the land clean before they eventually died out.


Whilst both her father and mother were exceptionally skilled in their magical abilities, and could harness multiple at once. Klarah herself could only manage absorbing energy from other individuals, and that too, with a risk. If too much was siphoned, she would kill them off entirely within a matter of minutes.


She also experimented with darker magic, finding the allure to white magic nonexistent. Klarah had tried her hand in healing, but was effectively useless. Remaining isolated for most of her life and kept within the strict confines of the castle, she was not necessarily antisocial. She enjoyed company, but often it was not from people...


When her mother discovered what her daughter was dabbling in, she scolded Klarah severely, and locked her in the southern tower as punishment. This happened often as she got older, and for extended periods of time. Neveah was not cruel, but she was naive, and realised too late the psychological implications of scolding her daughter so harshly and locking her away from the things she enjoyed. The two were grieving and struggled to maintain a healthy relationship. Klarah bothered little with her younger sibling Laya, as she was often the favourite sibling and during her isolation, found solace in other endeavours.


What she lacked in strength or speed, Laya made up for in magical abilities. Laya was strong, often besting her own mother when battling, and even was offered a place on the council by The Mages of Sirenus when she was only 15. The mages were a powerful and prestigious council within and around Erulsia that had much influence over magical laws, and what restrictions were placed on institutions. For example, the schools within Erelulsia, though most comprised boys, as women often stayed at home in the villages, to learn the domestic skills such as sewing and cooking, —(and majority of peasant families could not afford much education)—any magical children, had to register with the council. This was so that they could be monitored and tracked down if needed.

Abilities: Klarah can become unsolid, and phase through objects/attacks, though this ability is limited to a handful of minutes for now. She will become phantom-like in this form, and any attacks charged magically or physically are merely absorbed. (Excluding white magic, and any user that targets the soul, ie: soul magic.)

Personality: Klarah has the gift of calmness. Rarely does she step outside of her own control and lose her temper. She sees emotions themselves as weakness, or vulnerabilities that can be exploited. Having a reputation and image to uphold means that she remains alert and her mind is as calculated as her own advisory’s.


She is stubborn, and her experimentation in dark magic means she has seen and experienced pain that is much too hard to describe. Pain is nothing new to her, even the sting from a bee loses its effect if experienced often. Using her powers, she has kept the entity Calyx under her command for a long time now, and he is loyal to her cause. (OR so she thinks…)

Dark magic always comes with a price, and often she can be ruthless when executing trespassers and prisoners, which has made her feared throughout not just her own kingdom, but her rival kingdom, Sedan down south.


Despite her many faults and icy ways, she is braver then most women, and scorns at the idea of sitting in a kitchen learning domestic work. In one way, she is revolutionary, as she leads within a highly patriarchal society. However, that’s not to say she’s a role model. Nor does she try to be. She has a copious amount of wisdom and maturity that surprises many, as she is still quite young, and is often quite charismatic when she wishes to be more diplomatic.

Klarah is also very loyal to those she protects, and those that have proven themselves to her. This takes a lot, and she is not as trustworthy as one would think. She can easily feign kindness, whilst teetering on whether to only keep you close, as you may be an enemy..


Over the last decade Klarah has proven herself to be resourceful, her army is formidable, and she often ensures that they’re training to the best of their abilities. There are many reasons her army must remain in their best shape, and it is not always because of the threat of their rival kingdom, Sedan..

She has also set up many trading lines with her villages and the neighbouring farms to ensure a steady line of supply that is close by. Erulsia is rich in gems and natural resources, which she encourages farmers to use for trade. The coal mining business is also self sufficient.

Terrain of Erulsia: Mixture of forest, and extensive stretches of snow. Icy Mountains appear in the distance the further north you venture.




The Artefact:


The Sphere of Merra, is an artefact that was made by a strong demon entity by the name of Calyx that wanted 7 lives in exchange for the object. Klarah summoned him after her parents passed away, as he was the only person she would communicate with when Queen Neveah had her locked up as a child. The sphere protects her kingdom with a continuous barrier that those with extremely strong magical abilities can only pierce. However, it would take over one person to overcome the barrier, as it absorbs what magic is thrown at it until it cannot absorb anymore, and explodes and self combusts.


Despite this, the sphere of merra can withstand anything that is not charged magically, such as bullets, swords, or knives. White magic can only destroy it. Therefore, it is kept under watch by 12 of some of her best guards in the kingdom, and occasionally, herself. There have been attempts to steal it before that have not ended well. The room has many booby traps, and an alarm that triggers to alert all the guards in the kingdom.


It is one of the main reasons why Klarah’s castle has remained untarnished till this day... if the sphere was to break, the kingdom of Erulsia would be left vulnerable, and that is a risk Klarah cannot afford as she has many rivals..

Likes: Hunting, nature, hand-to-hand combat, anything that can help her extend her knowledge, chocolate cake. Long baths. The smell of lavender.

Dislikes: Extremely hot weather, laziness, people that doubt themselves too much, isn’t too keen on the dark. Much prefers daytime. Doesn’t enjoy sleeping.

[A long term roleplay is often needed for her. There are a LOT of twists and turns, especially surrounded Calyx, the sphere, and a bunch of things within her childhood, that get revealed in play. There are always two minor OC’s that I also play alongside her.
