Wonhyeon was never a child. Not really. His family had always lived like they were in constant pressure under the scrutiny of the press. Everything was perfect or it simply did not exist, and this rule was not exempt from the children. He and his brother were the perfect, pale, primmed dolls representing the future generation of Korea. Formality had been the norm since the day of his birth, and even though he was now a man, it remained. This was the main reason for his silence, for the toleration of all the years he went through as a child.

The Tong family had been rather an amusing topic in the city of Seoul, and even the country of Korea. Wonhyeon’s mother was a stern but tolerable woman who worked as CEO of KITA, and ended up marrying a man from Guangzhou, China. This put the family in a situation where, apparently, their only purpose was to represent their mother well, and it was stapled into Wonhyeon’s head that he must be without flaw. His mother’s reputation was at stake, after all. Accordingly, he was raised as isolated as possible, being homeschooled by a tutor and only having a very small select group of boys he could play with. They would make appearances in magazines and talk shows frequently. Eventually, after experiencing what would change him forever, he no longer wished to see anybody else his age.

Now a twenty-five, approaching twenty-six year old man, Wonhyeon lives alone. Completely alone, without the visit of friends, as he is without any. Though he owns a luxurious home, not many people have seen the inside, perhaps due to it being as secluded as it is - a nice home on the outskirts of Incheon, placed on the coast of the Yellow Sea. Despite his overwhelming financial success, Wonhyeon wants nothing more than to, very bluntly, die. The man is rather refined and reserved, and it seems he might not have much emotion to give.

And it leaves the people wondering - what is troubling the man that has it all?
