Life sucks, as always, but today with mud and dogs
After the siege at the Stronghold of Terror seems to have been repelled, the whole place falls to silence and quietness. Naturally, who'd ever want to set a foot out of the walls, before having the absolute certainty that the enemy left to never return? Not a soul, but not everyone has the luxury to choose by themselves.
Someone has to deliver a message to the Obsidian Vaults, to make sure the enemy won't manage to track it down if using magical means. Someone nobody would be sorry for, should he not come back. Actually, somebody everyone would prefer if he didn't return at all.
The person in question is quite known among the Zhi and Hai but not because of skills or deeds, just because of his origins. The son of a prostitute. An half Imperial, bastard son of a prostitute. If there could be anything lower, to the eyes of some sect people, it has yet to be discovered.
Unwillingly and obviously scared to death, the young man had no choice but to leave the Stronghold of Terror to head, alone, to the Obsidian Vaults. Luckily, he is quite knowledgeable of the area and manages to reach his destination without... unpleasant meetings on his way.
The rest is pretty much the usual. He delivers the message, as ordered, but instead of being thanked or praised for his bravery to get there in such a dangerous moment, he is insulted, mocked, hit, treated worse than if he had been their enemy.
Despite there is a very harsh storm outside, the Zhi don't offer shelter to him or to wait till at least the rain will slow down, they literally throw him out of the Obsidian Vaults and to spice it up, they unleash some of their dogs to chase after him, no reason, just to have a good laugh looking at him running away in panic and slipping in the mud with the dogs biting him around.

"If I left them before, where would I go? I would just go through the same, but in another place and with different colours on my clothes." Who would respect him, in other sects. It'd be even worse since they'd also make rumors on why he wasn't in Hai anymore.
Lineage... Ahahahahhahaha absurd° he is Lee So Hyeon son after all... °How can a person's value be decided by something a person cannot
control?
Yeah because they are all closed minded jerks.
I would kick all the people until they would start to respect me. °
"Yes, he is right. Other Sects are not as open as us for now. I hope they will take example and start welcoming without discrimination."
"Violent ways like that can only make one's life more chaotic, in my position, gongzi."
Maybe if the sects without disciples are desperate enough... "I share your hope, Clan Leader Yung."
I hope I will never need yo repair it, it would take all my blood to repair a gold cloth probably.
I like chaotic things, you shouldn't let other people think to be better than you.
Maybe when we will rebuilt them they will be that way. Those jerks who caused this war don't want to be more welcoming at all.°
