Isolde Imperious

nicknames ;; issy,
age ;; early twenties to late thirties
typical role ;; medieval ;; princess, royalty, noble
personality ;;
In a good mood Isolde is the ideal princess. Loyal to her family and her people with no second thought. It takes time for her to warm up to someone but once she gets use to them she is a friend and protector until they betray her and once that happens it's hard to get her back on their side again or even get her to speak a word to whoever it was that betrayed her. Stubborn not only with her feelings towards people but with her views, she won't be swayed by small arguments it takes emotion and proof to make sway her from one point to another - you better be ready to show her valid arguments for hours if you need her on your side with something. Often being refereed to as the troubled child has only caused her to rebel against what her parents want from and for her more so than she has in the past, the rumors of her legitimacy and the unsure feeling she has because of her family has only caused her to act out more as time goes on only seemingly growing more impulsive with her actions and emotions.

abilities ;;
Weapon ▬▬
Isolde prefers to use a ring blade, it's an odd weapon that is large, heavy and circular.
There aren't many users since most times the user can harm themselves with it.
If she is disarmed or without her ring blade she has three daggers hidden on her body at all times.

Fighting Style ▬▬
Quick and up close, Isolde has been trained to fight her opponent head on.
When it comes to range she can use her magical abilities but she prefers the blunt and brute way of fighting.

Magic Sealing ▬▬
An ancient teaching Isolde has taken a liking to. She has learned the ability to seal magic into any object choosing weapons for herself.
Once mastered she will be able to steal someone's magical abilities and seal them away for her own use.
Currently she has three Artes sealed;
Fire Arte ; Ifrit ; The dagger glows a low red as it becomes heated, burning what ever it cuts ; Glows bright enough to be used as a light source.
Electric Arte ; Quetzalcoatl ; While no glow is given off, crackling can be heard ; When cutting an opponent they are shocked, the longer the contact the higher the voltage becomes.
Ice Arte ; Mateus ; The dagger glows a light blue, turning the blade almost translucent ; Ice spreads from the cut turning the wound cold as well as the skin around it ; Longer contact makes the ice stronger.

basic background ;;
Everything was finally perfect. After so many years of trying to royal family of Luria announcement that they were to expect their first child - the heir to their kingdom. Almost every day was a celebration in the kingdom as the nine months seem to drag on, during this time the King and Queen entertained their neighboring countries often throwing lavish balls to welcome their guests showing off the growing belly of the Queen each time. Never once did they think about the possibility of war but when it came to be the day the Queen's water broke and she was screaming in labor pains came several fires that engulfed several areas of the small villages surrounding their fortified castle walls. Panic filled the Lurians as they tried to battle the flames quickly learning that they were made of magic, unable to be smothered by normal means giving them a change to spread faster weakening their defenses during what was suppose a joyous time.

While the flames moved taking everything in their path the army of Drukha invaded, finding almost no resistance in their way as most soldiers were attempting to take care of the flames or helping citizens to safety. This was the first land they conquered and it would turn out to be the easiest - claiming the total destruction of the Royal family including the infant, though the sudden pregnancy of the Drukhain Queen started the legitimacy rumors before Isolde was even born that she was truly the Lunrian Princess taken from the arms of her dying mother who pleaded for her babies life.

As a child the rumors were kept from her the best they could be, servants who were caught whispering about the possibility of them being true were removed from the grounds immediately. Anyone with status that was caught talking about them or even plotting on using the rumors when the child grew older was stripped of their status and power, the Queen vowing to keep her children safe from vicious lies.

At a young age there was no worry, everyone seemed to enjoy the joyful child. The baby was well cared for not only cause of her status but because of her apparent need to be around people, always crying when someone left her alone for a minute too long. As a toddler she explored everything she could when she wasn't glued to her sister's side. It was during those years she first heard the rumors, while she was too young to understand it led to a lot of confusion till one day she turned to her mother and asked where her mommy was. Of course the queen was furious - she asked her what she meant which led to her exposing the rumors her hand maidens had been spreading about her heritage.

Her life became more reclusive after that. The hand maidens were removed from her service and disgraced, only certain people were allowed around Isolde after that. Everything seemed to be fine until she grew older and in her early teen years started to act out. As she came into her powers Isolde started to find things to be hard, most seemed scared of her ability to seal away magic which led to her becoming distant from her family, where she use to spend all her time tagging along with either her mother or sister she found herself spending time attempting to avoid them, unsure if she could trust them and hating herself for feeling that way.

She never told them that the rumors had resurfaced and was causing a wedge, after all she looked nothing like the rest of her family and had the powers of the Lurian Royalty. The only person who didn't care for the rumors was the General, all they wanted to do was to teach her.
