Crown Regained

“Gabriel stop it!” Gasping for air as he tried to fight for her life the warm feeling of existing slowly slipping away from him. “Why are you doing this you’re a psychopath…” Joshua Foley aka Elixir tried to make contact with the man before him while trying to shift his biogenetics to prolong Gabriel’s conversion of him into energy. Trying his hardest to take the evil monarch down with him.

“Aaah!” Elixir let out a scream hoping that someone in the mansion would hear him. How could this be happening? He should be able to give Vulcan a brain tumor or a crippling disease, but nothing seemed to be working. “Darwin!” He yelled realizing what or to be correct who it was that Gabriel had that made him so quick to counter now even physical attacks. Gabriel was at this point in his life ever changing. Some things slipped away from him but it wasn’t often that he lost a power now he had become adept in his control.

Golden skin beginning to dull out as Elixir hit the floor knocking over a vase on his way down. Letting out a blood curdling scream as he exploded into golden energy which then melded with Vulcan. His own crimson hues reverting back to that of the natural blue shade as he typed on his wrist device teleporting back to his ship in mere seconds. It was more like a rally device he couldn’t teleport just anywhere but there was of course a return to selected location which he had marked as his ship. He had been moving in secret this whole time for Vulcan found what he had been looking for.

Now he himself could fly through space and wouldn’t have to worry about the baggage or check points set in place a blue aura encompassing him as he dropped out of the ship and flew off into the sky leaving Earth’s atmosphere. It wasn’t a short trip for most in fact there would only be a few known that could traverse such a large gap from point A to B in space like that and Captain Marvel was a name to throw out there.

“There goes Prince Gabriel.” One guardsman said as he saw the blue streak coming their way. “He’s been such a nice guy lately it makes you wonder if that bomb made him soft or something.”

Blue energy turning orange as he flew in range of the palace some looking up at him as the light in the sky. “The prince has returned!” One guard said informing Emperor D’ken who obviously was aware of Gabriel by his entrance. A frown on his face he knew Gabriel would be in a foul mood today in particular he could tell by his arrival, he’s known him for a long time and knows the tell signs.

Diving down from the skies Vulcan landed in the battle courtyard looking up at D’ken who had been looking down from his balcony. “Really, Gabriel?” D’ken was not amused at all and by the look on the younger one’s face he was going to-

“I call you out D’ken! Face me for the throne by right of combat!” The royal battles could become really intense some even died if there was no one that gave up but Vulcan vs D’ken. Gabriel should really take the cake on this one he’s done it before as well as saved D’kens life.

But there was a time where D’ken beat Gabriel and that was because he got in the young one’s head and made him lose focus. He was visibly off that time but this time he looked stone cold focused fists balled up blue flames… Blue flames? “Gabriel you are not ready to lead in your current state, you still lack stability. Go to your room.” D’ken said brushing off the challenge before the blue flames streamed towards him which he quickly dodged before the azure light hit the balcony doors freezing over before bursting into ice shards.

“Gabriel! You are relapsing get a hold of yourself!” D’ken raised his fist and clenched his teeth.

“No! I’ve never been more in control I do not need any therapists, I do no need any help, and most importantly I do not need you. You’ve controlled me for far too long D’ken when to speak, when to eat, when to smile, I can’t take it anymore! I’m done with your sh*t!”

Purple skies and dark clouds above set the mood even knowing this was pretty much a normal day on Chandilar. Heavy gusts of wind circling through the courtyard as it was clear it was Gabriel who had been causing the air movement so heavily. “… Gabriel I told you before I am in your debt for saving my life if this is what you want then so be it, I’d still rather have you on my side. You will be emperor once more but know this, the time for aggression and expansion is not upon us. You need to support and be present for the people in these recovering times… I will have arrangements made but you need to calm down right now. Whoever you’ve absorbed hasn’t settled yet.” D’ken said turning around and walking through the opening where glass doors used to be for the balcony. “Someone get on this door quickly there’s a draft in my room now.”

A smirk growing on his face Gabriel thought there would be more of a resistance but perhaps D’ken really thought he was doing what was best for him after all. Blue flames swirling around him as he now levitated in place hands engulfed in azure flames, eyes florescent blue. This felt good and true Elixir hadn’t settled yet but the power boost from absorbing yet another omega level mutant was dare he say… Worth the sacrifice of a life.
