Revenge
For someone it is a meaningless word, for him, it is the reason that made him continuing to live. But not for his father's death, that happened because he was too clueless, his enemies killed him and were killed. No reason to search for an organization.

And as revenge they start with the kind of conversation that can only make a prince with no effective power feel totally uneasy.
