Childhood: Destiny lived with her mother for most of her life. Her father left at a young age without a trace. This left an impact on Destiny by the age of 6 and almost ruined her relationship with her mother.
Teenage Years: By this time, her father started to come and leave her life whenever he seen fit. He’d stay for a week and disappear without a goodbye nor a note. She developed severe trust issues and couldn’t keep a stable/healthy relationship without being paranoid of their disappearance. Hence the reason she started to get more involved with women. She could trust them more than any man.
Adulthood: Destiny managed to find her interest back in men, but still kept a liking towards females. She moved out of her mother’s house and into an apartment and found herself a job. However, her relationships still weren’t where they needed to be. She struggled with her trust and it ruined majority of her relationships.
