After failing he is totally down, when at Shiinden he remained in the house of nature for a while, it is relaxing to stay there. Luckily Shisui didn't pass time there or they kept him out with different businesses.

From when he returned they could have noticed something off, his character was never perfect but now he is maybe too much pressed. He tends to stay more away from other disciples and to fight with them. He wants to prove himself more than before and he feels not enough but also that he has to do his best to show his skills when in challenge with others and it is always a challenge for him.
He has moments when he makes silly things to prove himself and others when he is in constant looking for attention.

As soon as the daily lecture ends he takes his bow and goes to practice, he didn't gain all the weight he lost while in jail and he uses to skip meals too.

The lecture just finished and they are free to do the homework xD.
Shisui obviously goes directly at the library when the lecture ends to read more about what they learned
Sian decides to go to eat something, they prepared his favourite dish lotus soup.
