After Doctor Strange cast the spell to make the world forget him, Peter restarted his life optimistically with every intention to get his life back to some type of normal. His first stop was to find his best friend and girlfriend; however, upon doing so he discovered they actually seemed happier without him. They had futures ahead of them and had gotten accepted into the college of their dreams; something that they originally had been held back from due to their association with Spider-Man. Not wanting to drag them down with his chaotic lifestyle again, he decided it was best to let them move on with their lives.
For now Peter lives a life of solitude. He rented the cheapest apartment he could find in Queens, which he pays for by selling pictures of Spider-Man to the Daily Bugle. When he isn't home resting, he spends most of his time as Spider-Man patrolling the city and listening to police radio. He still plans to get into MIT when he can either get a scholarship, or simply save enough money to afford his classes. In a world as crazy as this one, who knows what the future holds?
