Bio: Beatrix was born in Germany six months before her family packed up and moved away due to her father finding a better job in another country. She was primarily raised by her mother and grandmother as her father was often working too much to spend time with her as a child. Bio: Jay started dating a girl, Stella, in high school at the age of 15 and ended up marrying her when they turned 20 due to her getting pregnant. They lived with his parents since they couldn't afford to get their own place. When their daughter Melody was three, Stella gave birth to their twins April and Violet. At this point in time, Jay had managed to win a small lottery prize, enough for them to finally move into a two bedroom apartment with their kids.
Jay soon found himself doing most of the parenting. With a toddler discovering the world and building a sassy personality and two babies who needed majority of his attention, the man was struggling. Stella was always out with her friends or drinking and he soon found out she was cheating on him.

Despite knowing this, Jay stayed with Stella, feeling that there was no way he would be able to take care of the children on his own, even if he managed to gain custody of the children. It hadn't quite occurred to him that he was already taking care of them on his own, so he stuck around. When the twins turned nine and Melody twelve, Stella had another child. There was a lot of speculation about whether or not she was even Jay's but there was no denying the resemblance. It was around the time that Lily was born, that the man had enough of Stella. He filed for a divorce. For the first year, Stella had primary custody but after losing the apartment, temporary custody was granted to Jay who was living with his parents again. The second year, they had custody split evenly between them and things started off going well but when year three swung around, the kids started coming home to Jay dirty, hungry and then eventually, bruised.

Stella had started using drugs on top of drinking and with all the evidence piling up against her, she lost custody all together. She fought to begin with, having lost her meal ticket, but eventually gave in as there were other ways for her to make the money she needed for her addictions. Since then, Jay and the children continued to live with his parents and are much happier.
