If Eva ever wanted a piece of his empire, she needed to keep her name pristine, to not fight against the short leash her father had on her. Though, that didn’t mean she was a good catholic girl behind closed doors. Quite the contrary, in fact. She was sure her father would have a heart attack if he ever found out what she got herself into. From drugs to sex to gambling away thousands, Eva just wanted a little bit of freedom.
The scandal that broke could have been prevented. Both Cesar and Eva can agree on that. The “how” was where they differed. A million dollars stood in the way of the sex tape leaking, but her father wouldn’t pay. “You got yourself into this mess,” he said, spitting the words as he spoke. “You get yourself out.” Though, without his money, there was nothing Eva could do. Her name was plastered on papers all across the state and was trending online across the country. Eva was mortified and her father was angry. He couldn’t stand to look at his angel anymore and sent her to live with his sister for a bit of rehabilitation. Though, Cesar was unaware that his beliefs were outdated; Eva would make a name for herself out of this tragedy. She’d prove to her father that the purity of her body didn’t shape the woman she was. If she wouldn’t get her hands on her father’s empire, she’d just have to make one of her own.
