DaisyJones "Did we unravel a long time ago?
Is there too much we don't wanna know?
I wish it was easy, but it isn't so..."
DaisyJones
DaisyJones She glanced over Billy Dunne who let the silence between them stretch, enjoying the diner music and coffee more than her company. whatever, Daisy herself was hungry. the burger and fries couldn't have been served up faster. in the meantime, she was amusing herself with the incident three minutes ago where billy thought she'd ordered for her /and him/, when she was just ravenous. her appetite was like a horse's and billy dunne's ego was a balloon; over-inflated and so easily punctured.

but the catch? that radio played 'Stumbled on Sublime' by Wyatt Stone who had been her ex. it wasn't to say all who crossed paths with Daisy Jones plagiarised her lyrics. but this one certainly had. she wasn't the muse, she was the somebody.

Billy's voice was itself music as it hummed the melody she meticulously crafted. honey, raspy, sweet. she loved every bit and note of it. sometimes, when it was singing to her, with her, she could forget that they were more rivals than friends. If just for the moment.

"Oh you like that song?" She asked through a bite of burger and a secret inner smile. "I wrote it."

DaisyJones "Yes, because we know Karen and Graham would side with me -- most of the time." She quipped lightly before her eyebrows raised at him. Daisy's features were now graced by a wide grin. That perfect huge smile that Billy had in mind when he was writing songs on his own, more than he'd like to admit. Her red hair was set on fire by the rising sun behind them. "Jeez okay, fine. Truce for now, Dunne."

Daisy brought down her Ray-Bans over her dark blue eyes, but that barely dulled the mischief that radiated off them. "We just got back together anyway. So let's give the groupies a hell of a show, aye?"

DaisyJones Daisy did her best to fight a knowing smile; she knew he knew she was going to do /jack sh*t/ but ease up on him. This was accompanied by a sneaky cruel remark about Billy's wife, at the tip of her tongue. No, not /Billy's wife/ but Camila, she corrected herself. The woman was part of The Six after all... "Just the kids? Why, Camila's got you living high on the hog on your new loft bed?" She teased.
