Neither Elton nor WooPil know exactly when the others are supposed to return and it would also be complicated to tell, due to the fact that the Teyss islands belong to a different time-zone with 6 hours difference from Guyun time.
Elton doesn't intend to let WooPil be alone for even just one minute, even inside the palace, so they are both in his residence.

Elton was quite good at keeping WooPil distracted, so that he wouldn't get to feel too bad for having been left behind by his family, but it was unavoidable that it would eventually happen.
Now that a couple of nights passed, his separation issues kick in in full strength and he can't stop crying.

In a mixture of emotions, Elton tries to take WooPil to the park to see the duck, in hope that it will cheer him up a little. But right now, WooPil is sill crying. Not loudly or annoying.

WooPil ended up falling asleep shortly after they ate their snacks and Elton didn't come back till morning, as he didn't want to risk waking the child up, had he gone to retrieve him late at night.

As he goes to pick WooPil up, he warns Blade to get ready for that evening, because they are going to have a family gathering with his aunt and cousin. He tells Blade at what time he'll come to pick him up for the event, that same evening, and leaves.

He returns to their home at the exact time he said, still carrying WooPil with him and… pretty much all the food they will have for dinner. He waits for Blade to join them, so they can teleport.

He likes to take care of WooPil and takes the matter seriously, but there is something sudden that he has to deal with and he can't leave WooPil alone. He wouldn't, not even in the palace.
He decides to bring him to Yingxing, so that he can watch over him for a few hours.

He walks inside the house as if it was his own — he kept a copy of the keys, of course — and goes straight to Blade.
WonPil went to work, since it's already evening.
Elton is carrying WooPil in his arms and a big backpack on his shoulder, that would.make it look like he's abandoning the child there forever, but the backpack actually contains something that Blade might find a little… scary.

Immediately noticing that something is off with WooPil, he gets worried and decides to intervene.
He takes the little boy from the bed and takes him out of the palace with him, to engage in activities that could cheer him up.

First they go to the market, where he buys a small sack of peas, then they head to the park, so that Woopino can feed the ducks. He remembers that his father liked ducks, in his previous life, and hopes that they can still bring him some amusement even now.
They stop on a little wooden bridge over the pond in the park, and WooPil starts to launch the peas, one by one, to the ducks.
