The night in Teyss's manor proceeds quiet and pleasant, except from the endless sobbing of Suanni, till dawn. She doesn't take it well when parties don't go as she planned and, for her standards, it was a total flop, where everyone, including her son, left before the cake. But she knows why her son and husband left, although she doesn't take it well.

The morning is just as peaceful, but with a sort of weird atmosphere. Suanni is now sleeping, Raiel took Yang somewhere outside to show him something and Fae is sleeping under the shade of a large umbrella in the sand, near the sea.
Plus, there is a weird dude that wasn't at the party for sure, who has only one arm and a very piratesque outfit and demeanour.

Suddenly, there is a high pitched, female scream from the outside, breaking the silence.

Of course, the only reason why he was obsessed with going to the party and that he pulled out the greatest tantrum of his life, was the food.
WooPil, on the other hand, was the usual angel and went with Elton without making a breath, despite not being happy to be left behind.

At the party, after appreciating the size of Suanni's watermelong and coming up with comments like "even bigger than Kafka's", he started to cause troubles by trying to reach the food on the table and even makes a whole plate fall. His plan seems to be to make Zhongli swear. XD

Though, neither Suanni nor Raiel seem to mind Yang's naughtiness.
She even chuckles as he makes that mess. «Your child is so curious and lively!»

As the children were playing in the backyard of Zhongli's residence, under the monitor of a not-very-attentive Cyno, something completely absurd happens.

Yang and WooPil have a little sort-of-squabble, which mostly consists of Yang shaking WooPil and pushing him, to get something from him.
As they both fall, a combined light spread from both their bodies and suddenly, a very strange, never-seen-before portal appears.
The portal looks square, with something that looks like a sand vortex inside of it.

Yang ends up sucked into the portal, as he was the closest, causing Cyno 400 heart attacks combined. «YANG!» he shouts, running to the mysterious portal.

Their unauthorised excursion goes out for quite some time, but eventually, the sun sets and darkness falls all around. That's how quickly their bravery turns into urge to go back to the palace. Problem is, they can't remember the way back, as they are lost in the city.

Meanwhile, they've also managed to find WooPil back and regroup, but due to being too panicked, even WooPil doesn't manage to find the way back, not even with his powers, as he doesn't manage to focus. And now there aren't as many people around in the streets, everyone is going home, which makes things even more scary for the little ones. Not to mention that they are starving and Yang is, of course, exhausted.

They all gather around and start to cry in the square where the market is held.

Eventually, the fateful meeting between himself and Teucer happens.

Teucer had to use two powerful weapons to convince Yang to raise his ass: the promise of something really delicious and looking for Cloud Retainer, as he saw her leaving the palace with Xiao, but she has not yet returned.
They also literally drag WooPil with force with them, to prevent him from running to warn the adults right away. WooPil worse than the police.
The two brats manage to find one of the very few people ways for them to sneak out of the palace and they do so. It will he explained how, when adults will ask them how the heck they made it out on their own.
And there the little brats go, free and ready to conquer the world. Except that Yang needs to sit down every two minutes because he is too tired. WooPil, instead, is scared and cries literally all the time as they walk through the crowded streets of Guyun, catching quite a lot of attention, since it's definitely weird to see three small children like them in the streets alone.
