Fontaine.

Once they manage to convince Yang that nobody is going to behead him and when Xianyun is done hitting Hudie and Thoma with her flexible bamboo stick, they can finally go to Fontaine for the long-awaited croissant trip.
They travel there from Chenyu Vale for the panoramic route and by morning they are in the Court of Fontaine.

Tail.

After one whole day of peace, it was unavoidable that things would have to get messed again.
While WooPil was out with Chan for some "mysterious" business, LeYang thought well to cut off the big fox tail of the plushie WooPil got himself at the toy store and… wear it in his pants, so that he thinks he will be like WooPil and thus his brother won't have to be shy anymore.

As imaginable, though, his ungrateful fox brother didn't show any appreciation to his gesture. Instead, he literally fainted when he saw the tailless remains of his plush in Zhongli's bedroom.

Chan rushes WooPil to his own residence and summons Lani there, to check on the child.
The doctor visits WooPil and determines that he simply passed out because of shock and that there won't be any serious consequences.

After Lani left, Chan leaves WooPil to rest in his residence and hurries to go to Earth to see if he can buy another of the same plush, to replace the broken one. He is really annoyed, despite understanding that LeYang didn't do it for a bad reason.
Of course, though, the fox plush was the one and only the store had left and Chan didn't even manage to find a way to have a copy delivered. It's as if that one plush was the last left in the world.

When he comes back, he is even more bitter. But he is soon warned that there is someone who wants to meet him in the square of the city, so he has to go there.
When he arrives, he finds himself in front of the King of Arcanis, the father of DaNa, who just wanted to exchange some words with him, since he and Chen are the only members of Shige's family left.

???

He spent the night on the streets, of course, with no intention to look for the place ZhongLi mentioned.

At about 8 am, he is already at the market, buzzing around to wait for Chan and well… checking if there is anything interesting he can get his hands on.
Before he could even try to steal something, though, some short guy comes at him. He seems mad.
The shortie asks him for his name and he tells him that he is "Lee WonPil", which the other clearly doesn't take well.

The guy pretty much grabs him and forces him towards a stand nearby. He is much stronger than ooo would have expected and doesn't manage to break free.
The shortie takes a syringe and steals some blood from him, being incredibly swift and efficient at it, while ooo struggles and begs to let him go.
In the end, the guy orders him to stop "disrespecting the memory of the dead" and lets him go.
The fake WonPil runs away at the speed of light, following damn well the suggestion to stop posing as WonPil, indeed changing his appearance as soon as he is far enough.

The scene happened in the public and definitely attracted some interest and curiousity from the passerbies, since there was quite a ruckus.

(Mis)adventure.

He keeps riding towards Huodong until the urge to find a shelter becomes his priority.
The reasons why he decided to head to Huodong are simple: it's the feud that treated him the best so far, regardless being a prisoner; they are the nicest with children and, most importantly, it's the only place where Xingxi can't access. He thinks that it's the safest place where he could be, if the Huodong will let him be there.

On the way, his compass leads him to a strange place. Something like a trapdoor in the middle of nowhere, with not even a ruin of a building. He thinks that maybe all that was above it before got erased by centuries of erosive phenomena, so, despite being quite creepy, he decides to get in there. He is aware it could be dangerous, but he also knows that there is no chance he could survive the night without a shelter. He also fears that YoonPil might be looking for him on his dragons, thus an underground place would seem especially fitting.

Opening the trapdoor is difficult, due to how old and ruined the lock is. It at least gives him hope that there is nothing inside, if it has been shut for so long.
He has to use the horse to break the lock and be able to finally access the staircase leading down in the darkness.
There is a mix of strong smells in there, that he isn't fully able to identify.

To his surprise, there are some lights inside, like glowing crystals that make things more visible along a corridor that leads to a wide room. The door is broken and on the ground, as if it was torn off.
WuXing sends a glance behind towards the stairs but eventually decides to proceed. What choice does he have?
Taken a deep breath, he walks inside the wide room. The place is fully lit by the same crystals and there is an abundance of weird things. It's like a dungeon with a lot of alchemically huge bowls with mysterious liquids, even body parts inside jars and other horrific, unspeakable horrors.

He feels the urge to escape, but at the same time, he knows he can't. He keeps exploring the room, finding even a big coffin-like box made of glass, filled with a shiny but transparent, dense liquid and… a person inside. Perfectly preserved even. His eyes widen, clueless if that's an undead, just a dead or even a living person kept in some strange cryogenic state.

As expectable, though, that place is not safe at all. Soon, some noises start to be heard and before WuXing could react, a couple of undead leap at him. He screams loudly and tries to get away, but they grab him and scratch him.
He manages to break free by breaking one of the jars on its face, but that's not enough to defeat them.
He tries to reach the exit of the room, but there are undead blocking the way. He keeps escaping from them all over the room, throwing all he can reach at them, making a mess and a lot of noise. Enough to awaken even worse than undead.

A huge abomination makes its entrance, even crushing a few undead on the way. It targets WuXing right away and he manages to escape a deadly blow by miracle, jumping behind the glass coffin.
He curls up behind it, feeling doomed and helpless. He knows that he is going to die and he has no chances to escape.
He is suddenly invested by a storm of glass and an icy cold liquid. The monsters must have broken that box behind him. He almost hopes the liquid is poisonous and it will kill him before the undead.

He doesn't dare to look, just waits for his death with his eyes shut and arms over his head. Even when he hears weird noises doe the circumstance he is into.
Suddenly, he feels something gripping his shoulder. He freezes entirely, almost incapable to move.
He is pulled up and forced to stand and move. He still keeps his eyes shuts and his arms over his head, though, too scared to look.

He hears the horse neighing loudly and then… a confusing feeling, similar to when Chan teleported him away from the Huodong at the exchange.
The stench gone, now only a cold wind striking his wet skin like ice blades, and complete silence.
He hears a gasp, then he is pulled somewhere again. Somewhere warmer.
«It's over now», a voice suddenly says. A manly, soothing and kind voice. «Look at me.»
WuXing slowly opens his eyes, just to find himself in front of a guy, all wet. The one who was inside that coffin, no mistake. He shuts his eyes again, scared.
«I must look tragic right now», comments the other. «Let's just hope that water still works…»

As he feels that the other person is moving away, WuXing opens his eyes and follows him, clinging to his clothes. «Don't leave me alone», he sobs in a trembling voice.
«I won't… but we have to wash and wear dry clothes.» The mysterious person wraps his arm around WuXing and gently pulls him with him though a door.
They are inside a building, that looks pretty old in style, but also clean and intact, except for some little mess like objects on the floor.
The new room the new room they enter is an epic bathroom, like they didn't have not even in the royal palace of QiuWu.
The stranger touches something and a jet of water falls from above. «This is good », says the guy. «Now we just have to hope there is something to wear.»
WuXing follows him to a furniture in the same room and watches him pull out some folded, dark blue clothes.

The two take a shower together and wear the clothes found by the mysterious man. Naturally WuXing has no clue what that place might be and in truth, he is still too much under shock to even ask some questions. He is only glad to finally be somewhere safe and not all alone.
After washing, they move back to the first room. WuXing sits on a couch, while the other person throws some magical embers into the fireplace.
«Now, it would be nice if "someone" decided to give us something to eat», says the guy, looking towards the ceiling, for reasons that WuXing can't understand.
The guy snorts and sits next to him on the couch. «Guess we will have to wait for tomorrow.»
WuXing unties his infinite purse necklace and takes out some packed supplies, dry meat and cheese. He could only get stuff that won't go bad, since it was for emergency situations.

After eating something, the mysterious stranger leads him into a bedroom. Before he could be offered a separate bed, he clings even tighter to the other, to send a clear message.
They have to sleep in the same bed, but the guy doesn't complain for it. WuXing falls asleep almost immediately.
