His breaths are shallow, something he must grow accustomed to each time he lays, fingers slim and shivering. Normally, falling asleep is his time to worry, when the tide of the day comes in and his thoughts fall into place the burden that is his mind returning once more.”

Self Belief : Avyn, since his early years has suffered with Cotard’s delusion / Cotard’s syndrome. Cotard’s delusion is the belief one is already deceased or dying. Due to this Avyn has an extensive past with suicidal ideation and self harm under the belief none of these actions can hurt him with the hope this will prove he truly is still alive.
