Catholic, detective with the Louisville Metro Police Department, married, family man, Army veteran, outdoorsman, country guy, loving husband, father and uncle
Louisville native, he was the quiet one in his class. His parents got him into Shudokan Karate and Jujutsu when he was in third grade, mainly to help him focus. He took it both like a duck to water, proving to be a natural as he rose through the ranks. At the same time he applied the teachings of the church to what he learned, getting the nickname Templar from his friends for his deep faith, martial arts skill and willingness to defend others, which lead to him joining the army after high school, starting off as a chaplain's aid before joining the Rangers.
