Born in a country where women were expected to take care of the home and raise children, Aisha always felt out of place. Paired with the fact she was a citizen of Saudi Arabia meant that she had lesser rights than her male counterparts. Given less rights, less education and less working opportunity meant that she would always be a step below men.

Her father, was not like most Saudi Arabian men. He made sure all of his children had nothing but the best of education. Even Aisha wasn't excluded. Her father would often tell tales to her brothers of brave men who were sent out to see the world and brought back treasures of gold, diamonds and silks. This made Aisha thrilled and she too sought to adventure out of the country to see what other thrills life held for her. Against her father's wishes Aisha left home at the age of eighteen.

Joining a band of mercenaries as the only female member, Aisha expected to be taken advantage of but outside of cooking and cleaning, the members treated her with love and welcomed her as something close to a sister. Soon Aisha learned how to protect herself using a sword, this made Aisha's adventures less stressful and she boldly went out into the world with her head held high and steel pressed closed to her side.
