Born to a wealthy and well known family, Hinata was nothing short of a disgrace once she came out as lesbian. Knowing how things would go, Hinata played the role of a normal and loving daughter as she worked to earn money. Being the daughter of two closed minded Asian parents meant that Hinata couldn't plead her case. She knew she would have to leave home and provide for herself. Once she saved up close to ¥1 million yen she finally decided to come clean to her parents.

Her father, was nothing short of appalled and all her mother could do was to cry and ask her where she went wrong. Did she not give her enough love? Was she a failure as a mother? The mere fact that her sexuality was seen as something that could have been prevented, made her laugh. She had eyes and she knew what she felt. She left home willingly even with protest against it from her mother, her father didn't much care if she stayed or went. She knew she couldn't call her current place of living a home.

Hinata moved in with her current girlfriend (Toka). After a few years they left their small village and moved to Shibuya located in Tokyo, Japan where they got a partnership certificate. Hinata plays the role of a devoted housewife and her now wife; Toka Suzuki plays the role of 'breadwinner'.
