••❦ L O O K I N G F O R...

Updated: April 21, 2024

Hello everyone! I realize I have quite a few plots. In order to narrow it down a tad, I have decided to list some of the plots that I am particularly itching to write. I will try and update this as often as possible/needed. They are not arranged in any particular order of preference. See notes below (marked with **) to see my thoughts.

However, please do not hesitate to pitch other plots/your own ideas even if they do not appear here - I am not strictly looking for /only/ these plots, they are simply the ones that I want to write the most at the moment.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to plotting with you all!

MEDIEVAL

1. For as long as scholars can remember, a bitter rivalry had always existed between the two kingdoms. The threat of war has always hovered in the distance, but their tense alliance always managed to remain intact. Finally, after centuries of disagreements and conflict, the two ruling families of the kingdoms finally came to a decision; an arrangement, an agreement, a resolution. A marriage between their respective heirs, both who were too young to even understand. It was the promise of a new age, one without strife or fear. A union not only between two people, but two cultures and two ways of life. However, they did not yet know how the pair would react when it came time to carry through with the arrangement made all those years ago. Will the couple fall happily in love? Or will the years of rivalry keep them from truly being happy together?
Slowburn, enemies-to-lovers vibe. Will include political tensions and alliances, war, possible pregnancy.
** I just love arranged marriage plots. I am a sucker for drama and enemies-to-lovers storylines. I will never, ever say no to an arranged marriage storyline.

2. Character A is the leader of the rebellion against the monarchy and is used to doing dirty deeds for their cause; they have more blood on their hands then anyone really should. Character B is loyal to the crown and is under deep cover in the ranks of the rebellion, making their way up to the right hand man. Will Character A discover that something is not as it seems when it comes to their most trusted companion? If not, when the time comes to reveal the truth, will Character B be able to betray Character A and their cause?
** I do have a loose character sketch in mind for Character B that I would /love/ to try out, but I could play as either character.

REGENCY ERA (1811 - 1820)

1. Character A is a young lady from an influential, upper-class family. It is her first season being debuted to society; although she is undoubtedly desirable, after a number of near-scandals and misunderstandings, her chances of finding a suitable suitor have begun to dwindle dangerously. Character B is a duke, returning to his estate after a long absence; he is determined to never marry, but at every social gathering, he is bombarded by eligible young women and their chaperones, desperate to win over his affections in the hopes that their daughter may secure a proposal from him. After an unlikely and brutally honest encounter, Character A and Character B make a deal: they will pretend as though they are deeply in love, so that Character A's position as the most desirable debutante is established once more, while Character B is no longer considered available and may enjoy their time in London in peace before he leaves for good. However, the longer their arrangement continues, the less it begins to feel like a ruse...
** I am currently writing this/something similar with someone (if you're reading this, know that I /love/ our story), so this may not necessarily be *exactly* what I am looking for. However, I have been toying with the idea of Character A being from a family on the brink of ruin, and she must therefore marry well in order to save her family. However, she is either a timid wallflower (although with a deep well of personality within her), or a sharp-mouthed, rebellious type. Either way, she has no idea how to charm the eligible bachelors of the Ton. This is where Character B, society's most notorious rake, steps in. Either he pretends to be with her for the same reason as in the original plot (appearing unavailable), or he is a family friend (her friend's older brother whom she's always had a soft spot for, for example), but regardless, he teaches her how to flirt and capture the attention of the men of the Ton. Of course, this arrangement must remain a secret, as it would be highly scandalous should it be revealed that a "gentleman" was teaching a young lady how to /seduce/ and manipulate men to her will. Eventually, as their arrangement continues (and she starts attracting suitors), he starts to fall for her. She thinks that he does not love her, but pines after him anyways despite the new attention she is receiving.
** I am also a sucker for literally /any/ regency era roleplay. Literally /anything./

VICTORIAN ERA (1837-1901)

8. When her father dies, Character A finds herself facing a difficult choice. As an unmarried woman, she faces poverty without a husband to provide for her— unless she takes on the challenge of running her late father's detective agency, which would be unthinkable for a respectable lady. Fortunately, she finds an unlikely partner in Character B, an unconventional inspector known for his smarts and his mysterious past. Together, the pair begin to tackle a string of grim murders, although the deeper they dig into the circumstances surrounding the mysterious deaths, the more they endanger themselves.
** I just think this would be a very fun storyline to write. I would prefer to play Character A.
