While wandering the palace, he comes across Verfall. He doesn't know him, regardless he has a past in the Liofrost, but Domitius is too young to know. The man begins to interact with him in a friendly way, even if Domitius always struggles with other adult men in truth, but tries to not be completely hostile. It is not a long interaction, but enough for Verfall to uncover some intel.

As for Zhongli and what he did, he caused Ash to 'disappear', keeping her safe somewhere. Now he is waiting for the organization to react. Of course he warned Xianyun of it, to make her aware and not let her worry for Ash.

Domitius decides to head out of the palace and see if he can enjoy his time in some chill activity.

Pantaficus "That would be the best but it all depends if they want to or not. They likely knew where this place was, but didn't make any mention of it so far." Qi could hardly find the time for teaching too.
He struggles to find a quick answer to her words. He can't help his major disappointment on the matter indeed. "Don't think about it. I'm a reasonable man, this kind of things can happen, we should just move forward."

She nods at his words. «You will always find a friend in one, should you ever need any help or assistance, do come to one…» She knows that it's a friendzone line, but what can she do. She left her God for Zhongli, she will never give up on him.

Pantaficus "Yes, it should be...but we can't force them. I'd be happy if one of the knights really took over here and restarted it all. A place of knowledge like this...wasted."
He slightly nods at her words, remaining calm while his mind makes smoke as he restains all his negative feelings. XD

She observes him, not sure what is going on in his mind. She could read his thoughts, but she would never do that unless it was for a truly necessary reason.

He puts back to the shelf the book he was holding. "I...would better get going now. Thank you, it was a lovely evening..." He feels the need to leave, fearing a breakdown.
