Lyra’s parents divorced the month she turned 8 years old. Since then, her personality changed. Lyra was more reckless. Drinking, smoking, staying out past curfew, and a list of other unmentionables.
The sad truth behind Lyra’s disobedience was the need to have her parents’ attentions. The divorce wired her brain differently, even if it was unnoticeable. Her father lived in a different state, and started a new family. She would never consider those two brats her siblings. her mother worked and only paid mind to Aaron, her younger brother. She loved Aaron but there are times she wanted mom’s attention too.
