Aesthetics/clothing style || Mashup of 'skater girl', 'VSCO girl', and 'grunge' | Her attire almost entirely consists of oversized shirts, layers, ripped and high-waisted jeans/shorts, beanies, and denim jackets

Personality || People assume she's cold and aloof, but such claims couldn't be farther from the truth. She's a warm-spirited girl who enjoys doing activities with those she cares for, yet also deeply appreciates a quiet, idle environment. Her room is her sanctuary, where she seeks to unravel with music as her only company and escape from the nasty world outside.
She loves to laugh and make others happy, even when she isn't feeling so happy herself. She's quite curious and has trouble reading boundaries, yet is eerily perceptive, so when she notices something's off with someone, she doesn't hesitate to ask about it, and will keep asking until the person verbally tells her to stop–even if she doesn't know this person well.
She strives to be tough in front of others but is very sensitive, so if anything has upset her, it isn't hard to tell.
She'll begin to sniffle if restraining tears, her nose will flare if she's about to attack, and her hands will shake if she's scared–like truly, honestly terrified.
Touch is her love language, and she'll initiate physical contact often with those she's close–or semi-close–with, not paying a thought to the fact that it might be making them uncomfortable until she's outright informed. She'll feel guilty about it then, of course, and apologize frantically while going out of her way not to touch them again.
She becomes uncharacteristically shy around someone she has a crush on, and dishes out heaps of physical affection subconsciously.
She's an animal lover to the core, but her main interests lie in exotic animals, doing mounds of research in her free time just because she enjoys it so much. She's eager to spout off said 'information' to her peers, and loves bragging about her beautiful parakeet to all that will listen.

"If I can brighten someone's day, even just a little, I'll be satisfied, even if I'm still hurting."

- BRIEF SUMMARY -

She was born to Rowen and Rver Byrne and grew up with her two older brothers, Ryker and Rayden. They were the ones who taught her how to skate, plus a load of other athletic things. They pushed her out of her comfort zone from a young age, so it's no wonder she's such a daredevil. She's also rather competitive–this attitude surfaces most through sports and video games. She can occasionally suppress it, but usually, she doesn't care to.
She's been dealt a good hand in play fighting and wrestling, as well; she had to learn how to get the upper hand when she was constantly picked on by two older boys, didn't she? Because of this hidden talent, she knows all kinds of holds and tactics, so if someone happens to go up against her, there is a minimal chance they'll emerge victorious.

When she was twelve, her mother suffered a brutal, unanticipated heart attack, leaving the Byrne family in shambles. Ryah took it horrendously, as she and her mom were always very close–she got the tattoo on her cheek in her honor, as she loved butterflies.

Since that tragedy, her father has seldom been in the picture, behaving annoyed with even the sight of his children and spending the majority of his time away on work duty, and though it's disappointing, it's nothing that she and her brothers aren't already used to; he was never much of a family man and preferred to leave the hands-on raising to his wife. The siblings get on plenty well without his physical presence.

Recently, Rayden moved away for college, promising to visit as frequently as possible but leaving her and Ryker alone in a–mainly empty–home. They do things together often, but there remains a hole where their older brother is supposed to be. Ryah has begun taking comfort in her friends more than ever before due to the feeling of impenetrable loneliness that's lacing its way into her daily life.
