Jadis Amora, the Gold Queen, is indeed a woman of intrigue. On the surface, she is the epitome of perfection, beauty, and benevolence. She presents herself as a powerful and majestic queen, a witch who uses her powers to benefit her subjects and the entire kingdom. Her golden aura radiates warmth and kindness, drawing everyone towards her. Her rule is just and fair, and her subjects adore her. However, her true nature is far from benevolent. Beneath this flawless exterior, Amora harbors a dark secret. This secret is her burden, her vulnerability. It’s a part of her past she wishes to forget, a truth she fears might shatter her image of perfection. But it is this very secret that gives her the power she uses to keep her appearance and her kingdom in such positive state. She maintains her power, youth, beauty and in turn, her kingdom by extracting it from her adoring subjects, primarily men who are bewitched by her charm and would do anything for a chance to be with her. Typically she can do this quite easily, as her subjects are all usually gushing with happiness and vitality so the act of siphoning is not needed. The curse placed upon her as a young child works on its' own, feeding off the freely available adoration she receives. But occasionally, Jadis needs a boost. That is when she will pick one 'lucky' man among her subjects and allow him to accompany her for the day, and if she decides he is worthy, for the night as well for a more personal act of stealing vitality from her subject. Of course he never sees this sinister twist to her character as she drains him of all his energy and uses it for her own gains. Is she really a benevolent and beautiful golden queen, or a manipulative and cunning evil ruler? That's up for you to decide.
