Silas Moorve

“Will it hurt?” He asked, tilting his head up to the ceiling.

“Not at all, my dear.” She whispered softly in his ear, her lips gently caressing his skin.

A lie.

One so sweet, it made his teeth ache. He wasn’t sure if it was a shiver of pleasure or agony that shot through his bones. The fire that coursed through felt inviting. As he was rested against the cold stone floors, the burn turned to bliss then agony once more as he gasped for air.

As his screams and thrashes dominated the silence of the grand hall, he caught the sight of her sharp red eyes staring back at him through the darkness. Something burned behind those rubies in the night…

Love.

But that was a long time ago.

Name: Silas Moorve
Gender: Male
Age: Adult (appears mid 20s)
Race: Human (formerly), Vampire (currently)
Occupation: Head Butler
Height: 6’4”
Zodiac: Virgo

Personality snapshot:
Silas initially comes off as very charming. He’s eloquent with his words, and has impeccable manners. There may be times when he will lend a helping hand, but it is all a ruse. Underneath the facade, he may be planning your death, or perhaps the death of someone near you just to see your reaction. Behind that charming man lies a snake ready to strike any chance he is given permission to. Too bad he was never taught not to play with his food.

Powers/Abilities:
Superior physical capabilities to that of humans (strength, dexterity, stamina, and durability)

Minor hypnosis capabilities to render a victim unable to resist his will for a short period of time

Dream manipulation for those he has learned the name and face of, he has the ability to change their dreams to subconsciously relay a message of his choosing

Shapeshifting into mist or a black snake, sometimes a black cat if he’s feeling sassy

Blood-bond, or the sharing of blood between a non-vampire and a vampire. It allows for a one-way connection between the two in which the vampire is able to hear the thoughts and emotions of the non-vampire. The bond lasts for eternity, even after the death of the non-vampire.

Weaknesses:
Silver coated weapons, sunlight, verbal invitation, dead man’s blood may incapacitate him, fire, wooden stake

Background snapshot:
Silas wasn’t born cruel. In fact, his childhood was rather happy. His mother was an artist, who spent most of her days painting whatever park she brought him to that day. His father was a teacher, and taught Silas how to read and write at an early age. His life was good, sweet and normal.

Until she came.

He must have been around 10 when he first met Lady Lovegarden. She owned the land their family lived on, and while she typically sent one of her servants to fetch their monthly rent, this time she decided to pay a visit. Silas was struck by her beauty, her dark curls illuminated by the lantern light, but found her solitary nighttime visit peculiar.

The next time he saw her, he had just turned 16. He was growing into a man and she had taken notice. Once more she paid a visit to their home, but this time she would not leave alone.

Silas hadn’t recognized what happened until it was over, and a splatter of blood whipped across his face. His mothers body laid limp across the dinner table, her eyes flat and unresponsive. His father wasn’t so lucky, and flailed as he grabbed his neck to try and stop the bleeding. It was useless.

Lady Lovegarden gave him a choice.

Live with her, and become one of her servants when he becomes of age, or join his parents.

He chose wrong.
