PAROLEE PLOT
After being wrongly imprisoned for 2 years, Braxxton gets out on parole. Adjusting to life on the outside is difficult with a conviction on his record, especially since no one knows the truth behind his imprisonment. As a term of his parole, Braxxton must live in a halfway house and maintain employment for 6 months without committing any criminal offenses or he risks an immediate return to prison. Braxxton just wants life to return to something resembling normal, so he takes the first job opportunity that will have him. Your character is a customer who frequents Braxxton's place of work. Although Braxxton tries to keep to himself in order to avoid any potential trouble, your character manages to crack Braxxton's hardened exterior. Over time, your character becomes someone who Braxxton looks forward to seeing and spending time with. As a tentative relationship grows, Braxxton starts to feel like he can put his unjust past behind him. That is– until...
POLICE OFFICER/GANG MEMBER PLOT
Your character is a police officer who doesn’t exactly go by the book, in fact they probably spend more time cavorting with criminals than capturing them. When your character finds themself romantically entangled with Braxxton, a gang leader, it’s easy for them to turn a blind eye to Braxxton’s illicit activities (especially when Braxxton's boss puts your character on a special payroll for keeping their business off police radar). Over time, your character is welcomed into Braxxton’s crime family, so long as they leave their badge at home.
This year, your character is up for a promotion - it’s so close that they can taste it. If they can arrest a notorious crime boss, they’re certain that the promotion is theirs. No problem. Your character can simply hand over one of Braxxton's enemies, right? As your character is scheming, the police chief calls a meeting. The chief unveils the newest person-of-interest, expressing in no uncertain terms that this is the perpetrator that they want brought down next. Your character is conflicted when they immediately recognize the person-of-interest as Braxxton’s boss, someone whom they’ve sat across from at the dinner table on several occasions, someone very dear to Braxxton, someone who will go after everyone in their family if there is even a suspicion of betrayal.
