Working for a group of scientists, as their lab cleaning person nightly. I am curious and discover a portal they are working on. Without thinking and wanting an adventure, I walk inside and I'm transported to the 1850s American deep south.

The point is for me to experience what it was like for my ancestors to better appreciate my life now.
