“Before all the bills, before all the work, and before I left.”

This story is a bit different in that we know the general direction of the relationship. This will focus on the lifespan of a couple’s relationship, from when they met; up until my character is deployed by the military. This will take place with occasional nods to the current state of the character’s occasional commentary on the story playing out. The bulk of the story will play out as if everything is is happening in real time, but with cuts or jumps to reference the couple while they’re grown and apart.
