Kilo would lock his gaze on the building ahead, promptly kicking his feet into motion. He'd emptily glare ahead, the circular light on his visor dimming down slightly with each step taken.

He tightened the grasp of his palm on the hilt of his blade as he approached closer. The automated voice spoke again as he stopped dead in his tracks in front of the entrance.

- '' * * Deep layer protocols engaging. Re-routing systems. . .

. . .

. . .

Compatibility registration; complete. Nano-catalyst viability assessment; complete. Living forms; detected - proceed for further compatibility register update.* * ''

He'd grip the hilt of the blade with both hands, squeezing it tightly as he held the blade high above his head, prepared for a diagonal slash at the plain wooden door.

The hydraulics released and hissed. His arms twitched, and he swung the blade across the entirety of the door, in a perfect diagonal angle - splitting them in two with ease.

The latter part, which remained attached fell down - as there was nothing left to support the rotting woodwork.

His visor lit up bright red as he swung the blade through thin air with finesse, hiding it behind his back, yet still at ready.

He took a firm step, stopping at the doorframe - scanning the interior ahead.

There were two creatures, no mistake. But neither one of them seemed to pose any critical threat. A taller one, mansculine, with light hair - standing by something that resembled a kitchen counter, wearing a long white ragged overcoat. And a smaller one sitting in the corner, looking ever so weak and fragile.

He stood in place, as the round light on his visor strobed in bright red - and a female, cybernetized voice rang from his direction.

- '' * * COMPATIBILITY REGISTRATION UNDERWAY. STAND BACK. * * ''

The light formed into thin lens, scanning everything ahead - as well as the two individuals alike. Then it spoke out loud and clear again.

- '' * * WARNING; CRITICAL INCONGRUOUS THREAT IDENTIFIED. * * ''

His gaze slowly moved to Clarissa, who was kneeling/sitting in the corner. The light on his visor dimmed down as he held the blade at ready.

But this girl wasn't quite regular, as the rest of the infected. Though his systems detected incurable infection inbound, she didn't seem affected at all.

And finally, from behind the steel visor - a monotone, clear voice came out.

- ''You are infected.''

He promptly looked at the man in a lab coat, speaking out again - the tip of his blade still aimed towards Clarissa - even though she was on the other side of the room. He spoke.

- ''I'm detecting epidermal damage. Stand back, civilian.''

Clarissa stared with wide eyes as she looked up the blade at the. . .the. . .well. It. She had no clue what this thing was. It didn't look or sound human. She flinched away, pressing against the wall, her expression one of fear and confusion. What was this? What had she done to deserve this? But, of course she knew the answer. She had been born. And she had been sick. Her brother always said it wasn't her fault. She didn't choose to do anything. But still, if it wasn't for her there never would have been a virus. She closed her eyes tightly and turned away, "Please. . . Don't hurt me. . ." She said weakly, her voice laced with panic and fear and sorrow.

Clary looked up at soul her eyes wide once more. Why was he being so nice to her? Giving her food and water, taking her away from that aweful place and even trying to protect her. . . Clary wiped the tears from her cheeks only half listening as he spoke to her, she wasn't sure what he was talking about or what he meant by it all.

She sniffled and moved forward the slightest little bit both so she wasn't pressed to the wall so tightly and to get a bit closer to soul. He just. . . Made her feel safer.

He'd slowly shift his gaze to Soul as he mumbled out the directives, the thin stripes on the visor resembling eyes strobed for a moment before dimming down, and the clicking of his internal hardware audible to both occupants of the room, as he processed the given directive.

Once again, a thin line of lens ran across Soul's face.

And the cyborg would instantly move his weapon away, sheathing it as the programmed voice spoke out.

- '' * * Configuring module - - Connection established. Human/Machine interface set to 45%. Untitled; Soul J. Woulfe, Junior biochemist; wing 15, restriction Bravo, Lambda. State unknown prior to the outbreak. * * ''

He'd stand in place, and just the mere presence of something as twisted as a human turned machine was enough to dim the atmosphere in the room down. The lifeless features that glared down at Soul were unmoving. The breathing of the human underneath all that technology was unaudible; if there was any human really left.

The automated voice would speak out again, directly to Soul.

- '' * * Corporation deviant, secured. Derivative objective, updated. - - Locate staff Sargeant William Reiner, further analysis required. Escort Soul J. Woulfe to relative safety of the workplace facility. * * ''

Althought not moving, the cyborg would just glare emptily down at Soul.

Almost..-

- as if it was waiting.

Clarissa just sort of stared. She didn't know what to do. There wasn't really anything she could do at this point. she stayed close to soul but kept away from the . . Uh. Other one. "Wh-what is that thing?" She asked her voice still a bit shaky. She reached out to soul but thought better of it and pulled away, keeping her hands in her lap.

He'd slowly turn his gaze to Clarissa, scanning her from head to toe - the hardware clicking audible as he just stood there, unmoving.

- '' * * Entity scan complete. Updating registers.

Subject; 0 0 1 identified. Enabling combat restrictions. Endoskeletal species of modified race and structure under direct supervision of Junior biochemist Soul J. Woulfe. Parental carrier; to date, none have survived preliminary testing. * * ''

Some of the hydraulics in his exoskeleton would release, resulting in a quiet hiss - this was normal. The cyborg would slowly turn his gaze back to Soul, speaking out.

- '' * * Primary systems, re-routed. Unit EC;MK-01 of Endocorp's Cyber Initiative; ACTIVE. Direct input not required. Entering stand-by mode until further directive.* * ''

The cyborg would rip its empty glare off Soul, and straight ahead - its eyes dimming down.
