Holly ignored the mutterings going on around her the best as she could. There was a lot more to her parents story than what was in the daily profit.
They made three muggle men feel pain for setting a tree on fire where a group of barn owls were nesting, make it worse the baby barn owls weren't ready to leave the nest so suffocated to death if that didn't happen they were burned alive. Her parents were just making sure those three muggles suffered as much as those poor defenseless owl did.
Ignoring as much as she could Holly helped herself to some shepards pie and water. She looked around the Hall and down the gryffindor table. The place was bigger than she thought it would be.

Holly lived close by to Hogsmead so she got to the station with her house elfs held. She worried about the animals being along. Especially the nifflers Hagrid wanted to borrow for his classes. Thank you minstery of magic for telling others she had them was all she thought. The only reason she agreed was because she was coming to Hogwarts any way.
Now in the boat crossing the river to Hogwarts she gripped the sides tightly closing her eyes and shaking the whole way. Once greater by the deputy head (no clue who it is) they were taken into the great Hall and sorted alphibetecal order. Being N she was one of the last. She was housed in Gryfindor. There was many in the hall that wasn't happy about it since her parents were in prison for harming muggles. But it they knew why they did it. Some would agree with what they did. Others would think the muggles should have died.
After the normal welcome speach the feast started.

It was the 1st September, students from all over the UK were making there way to Hogwarts. Or the lake at Hogsmead in the case for the first years. The last to arrive was the train from London. Holly was dreading this moment to heading across the lake with the other first years as she couldn't swim. Looking at the deep dark lake she took a deep breath and joined the other first years.
