Your character / Me as the Master of Ceremony (Controlling the people and world around you)

⇒ Concept:
This is an open invitation to delve into a world I've been building for a few years now. The world as we know it came to an end and population declined quickly. On your journey, through the mostly abandoned world, you stumbled into a city that is permanently shrouded in a heavy mist. On the search for food and shelter, you did not expect that this would be your final destination, for the City of Mist does not permit exit.

You will begin to question your sanity as you explore the shadow of a once buzzing metropolis. Odd things might occur that defy logic and even reality itself. Danger can lurk behind every corner.
Is it your mind playing tricks on you, or did something humongous lumber through the fog? What's that weird chanting echoing through the streets at night? Has that building always been there?

But you are not the only person who is stuck here. Soon after your arrival, you will meet a person that has been here for a few days and is in a similar situation as you are. They are not alone either, as they are accompanied by a young child that doesn't seem to speak. These could be your companions for the adventure ahead or you might abandon them and keep to your own. The choice is - and will always be - yours.

⇒ Notes:
The reason for the apocalypse isn't relevant to the plot but might be discussed individually if you feel it is important or you want it to be part of your character's backstory. Otherwise, we'll just keep it vague.

The character you will meet first, as mentioned above, is more or less the "main character" I am going to play. And most of our interactions will probably revolve around them. I'm fine with either playing a male or female character, so whatever you feel will fit more to your character I'll play. But there are other people to meet in this world, both friends and foes.

The story isn't intended to be romantic but I get that some people simply need it to be part of the story and that's fine. If it is a must-have for you, let me know.

Let's discuss things thoroughly before we start, ask any questions you might have, and let me know if you wanna change anything up. I'm very open to tailoring this experience to your liking.
