Genre: Fantasy, Adventure, Possible romance, non-versed oc.

Setting: a giant dungeon that has been closed off for centuries, accumulating loot for any brave divers.

Explanation: The world is filled with dungeons that are called Tombs by the people who scour their domains in search of fame and glory. The reason behind these magically refilling wellsprings of money is due to a weird phenomenon that took over the world thousands of years ago, known only as the Break. The dormant ley lines overflowed with energy, and all of histories most famed tombs that were built close enough to these intersections burst open with the energy, effectively acting as an EMP action. The result of this was a world wide technological reset. Of course with humanity mostly coming through relatively unharmed aside from around three billion casualties, we rebuilt the world. But the results of the mana overflow gave us new things to worry about. The dungeons had a maximum capacity to which they could accumulate energy, after that they would have to release said energy via a dungeon break. The aftermath of this was mostly hostile species flooding the areas, but sometimes the dungeons were connected to peaceful plains of existences, such as elves, giants, and almost every species of mythological creatures that we ever thought were fake. These creatures created a pact with humanity, they would be allowed a bridge to their world, in return they would provide goods and soldiers to help protect the world. As such the Bifrost was made and traveled almost daily, both sides were allowed prosperity and freedom to move from one side to the next.

The otherworlders all helped to make the Earth safe, but after the threat of dungeon breaks were quelled, a new group was formed to help prevent the breaks entirely, a guild of sorts. This would be the Divers Guild, a group dedicated to allowing any brave souls who dared to try and quell the horrors within the gates to give it a go. As society does, they tried to make the dungeons a monopolized resource. After all, the mana stones were used as energy for the world, and was needed for a lot of society's most amazing technology that mixed with the Break Energy. The profession of Divers was sought after by a wide array of peoples, all manner of creatures showed up on day one, but as the dangers of the Tombs rose, the number of divers… well they dove, now the numbers of the noble profession are at a dying rate, and the two Divers who meet at this all too old dungeon are terrified, in its existence it has never once had a break, which is impossible for a two thousand year old dungeon that was never once dove into, that was what drew the characters to it in the first place perhaps?

Gathering people for a group rp on Discord.

TheWyvernHouse replied to TheWyvernHouse's topic

I am looking for people interested in a discord group roleplay (Slice of Life), please let me know if you are interested as soon as possible! The roleplay would take place as a group of college students are entering into their first years there. The roleplay has no designated structure yet but we take our members into consideration whenever we make a decision and a lot of the times your opinions will be taken into account as well, so please do not be shy to come and join the group! We are detail oriented and most of us would like to keep the roleplay in the earthly realm. If you hold any interest in a slice of life style rp then message me on Discord, Scarlet Rot#5073 , To any who read this and do not have any interest then have a wonderful day!

(Number of members needed for max capacity, 6)
