Dark Drama ~ Looking for Male in FxM

HEARTBROKEN replied to HEARTBROKEN's topic

"It was then I realized I liked the sight of blood more than I should. The life draining from his eyes sent me into a daze, and for a moment, I felt happy. A smile tugged at my cherry stained lips as he fell over, lifeless. I felt bliss"

Listen- I'm sort of unmotivated to write out a huge detailed plot, so I'll just list off the basics of one I'm really vibing with right now, and after that I'll post some shorter pairings. READ MY DAMN RULES, FIRST- P L E A S E.

My character is a reporter (this story would be set early 2000's when newspaper was more popular, and early blogs were around) who craves adrenaline. She gets herself into dangerous situations in order to get the best stories and has no problem with doing it. She's got underground connections and officer friends who give her information when there's a killer at large. One day, though, to get that big promotion at work, she decides to go undercover in order to get the scoop on a notorious gang that's been wreaking havoc on the city of (wherever).

Now- in order to prove her loyalty (after months of small tasks and dangerous missions) she is sent to kill the governor. She finds it's a little too easy to take a life and even finds herself almost enjoying it. She loved the adrenaline it gave her.

That's jsut sort of a little snipbit of my character- Maybe she meets your character (he could be one of the 'leaders' of the gang, maybe a hitman, maybe she's even sent to spy on y'c), and the two just get along in one of those "I hate to love you" type ways." She becomes conflicted on her reporter duties, taking notes of everything and pictures where she can, but after she's fallen for y/c, she doesn't know if it's really a good idea to finish the story.

~~ Now some very minimal ideas that need to be worked on ~~
Soldier x Nurse - Pretty much what it seems. Our characters could be shipped out and meet on the battlefield, maybe they get kidnapped by the enemy for a specific amount of time (this would definitely have dark and triggering topics). And when they get back home it's them just trying to get over everything together. (Other ideas welcomed, too)
Ex-Marine (Or whichever branch is preferred) - Y/c is an ex-soldier who's come back from war with PTSD and nothing left to live. One night he's decided to take his life, but my character stops him just in time. He's a hard-ass alcoholic (maybe a dad trying to get custody of his kid) and she's an outgoing single mother, hiding from her ex-husband. Slowly, the two become more than friends, but what are they willing to do do to protect each other? (Again dark topics will arise.)
Escaped Convict x Country boy/gal - Convict (either m/c or y/c) has escaped to a lonely town hardly on the map. He's got a huge bounty on his head and is hunted by both law enforcement and his ex-crew. Will he be able to stay hidden and keep up with the fake life they've made to impress the guy/girl of their dreams?
Two lovers, one has a terminal disease - Pretty much what it looks like. We could just do parts of their life and such, more of a bittersweet story than anything.

Blegh anything else is welcomed, too.

The Craze

HEARTBROKEN replied to HEARTBROKEN's topic

Okay- So listen up. This isn't really a 'romance' persay. More of an action and drama vibe. We would play as the husband and wife of the story, who also have a child. There can be intimate scenes, I guess, but that's not really the focus of the story. Of course, this couple would do anything for each other and their child, so keep that in mind.

The world our characters are in is plagued with a blood-borne virus. Some are immune, some aren't, those who aren't have to worry about getting the virus, those who are have to worry about getting killed by the infected. Essentially no one is safe. The virus (transmitted by infected blood coming in contact with non-immune blood, bites, etc) turns it's host into a bloodthirsty monster. The host is still conscious and can fully comprehend what the virus is making them do. The longer you resist the urge, the crazier and hungrier you get. The cure is still unknown, and it's doubtful that it will arrive any time soon.

Our characters and their child are on the road, trying to find somewhere to hunker down for a while. (Maybe one of the characters has an illness, or 'disability' that requires a lot of pit stops) They stumble across a house and upon investigating it, they discover people live there. Now, people are a touchy subject. Most have adapted and gathered together to fight alongside one another, and some have decided to stay in solitude. It's very unknown for an infected person or persons to be able to hide the virus. All seems safe upon introduction. Our characters are led into a false sense of security, thinking they've finally found a safe place for the time being until they fix the car.

However, one night, one of the two decided to go to their car to retrieve something (maybe it broke down a ways from the home) and find that the tires were slashed. A red flag raises for the character and they are shocked to find their s'o and child missing when they get back. Frantically searching, the character that found the car (will refer to as 'A') finds their s/o and child have been locked in the basement. A gets them out, after a good struggle, and they make a break for it. Though, one of them gets seperated, thinking it'd be best if they went a different path. A and their child are left together as they follow down a different way, separated by a long fence. Just when the other gets out and looks back with a relieved face, a sharp object plunges through their chest.

Honestly- It's just kind of a 'starting' idea. Obviously that character can live and there's some sort of side character one of us could play, or something along those lines, but I don't know. It seems like something that can be expanded upon and such. This would probably start out a bit slower, just to get an idea for our characters, they could possibly stay at this home for a while before anything happens (which would be whenever we feel it needs to be spiced up).

If you're interested, please send and add and READ my rules. Like seriously, read them or I won't accept you.

What's in the Past (MxM, FxM)

HEARTBROKEN replied to HEARTBROKEN's topic

"It seemed impossible to fall in love, especially with someone like you. Hell, it nearly was. But for some odd reason our paths crossed and we fell for one another. Hard."

This idea is a mix of light-hearted romance with a darker setting to it. Our characters were happily married and were just about to start a family of their own, that was before my character's secret got out. My character (preferably male) was and is a notorious hitman for a large crime organization. Late nights and unexplained absences started to pile curiosity onto m/c's partner, and they eventually started to investigate into the company mine supposedly worked for. When there was no evidence of mine even being employed, y/c decided to start following m/c when they left for work. After months of following y/c finally sees something that explains it all. M/c plunging a knife into the throat of another man. After confrontation, y/c leaves mine (though nothing will change the fact that they're madly in love with each other.

Years later m/c is offered a job that will provide money to live off for the rest of their life, while also a ticket out of the world of crime. Though a brutal and terrifying task, m/c does it, and the first thing he does is go back to his old hometown to find the love of his life.

Will y/c take him back in a heart beat? Will there be tension and suspicion? Will the past come back to haunt the two?

For this I don't particularly mind where we start, and as long as you're fine with it, we can make up details about their past that they may reminisce on or bring up (as long as it fits their character). Also- If you've got a good character idea for the 'assassin' role, I don't mind you playing it! Personally I don't really mind either role, but the one I originally suggested just speaks to me more.

If you would like to add me, feel free to! Just know I'll most likely only accept those who read my rules.
