Joshua was born into a moderately okay family. His family all have their flaws, but really there was no trouble. He lived a rather boring childhood as he studied inside his home rather than play outdoors like the other boys, and watched movies or played video games at home as well. He watched countless movies as well but with his family. Joshua discovered his love for history when he was in the sixth grade, and forever enjoys revealing new things about historical events and finds some pleasure in describing it to others to help educate them.

When Joshua went to college to become a teacher, he met Elizabeth who swiftly became the love of his life. After college and Joshua became a proud history teacher, he married Elizabeth and they moved into a small home together in Los Angeles and planned for the future. However, Joshua knew that it was all too great. Something bad had to occur, but he would've never guessed that Elizabeth was cheating on him with some muscular bartender. One day in winter, school was canceled early and Joshua returned to discover Elizabeth with the bartender having intercourse. Of course, Joshua did what most people would and kicked both of them and divorced Elizabeth a week later. Though he was furious for the first week, he became extremely depressed for months after he took off his wedding ring and tossed it somewhere across his yard. He began to drink alcohol, but only on special occasions. He wanted to wither away, but his love for teaching and the love from his students kept him going. Most students agree that Joshua is their favorite teacher.

Now, Joshua is waiting for a new lover to become his life as he drinks a mocha and reads a book alone pretty much everyday. However, he does sometimes watch Star Wars as well when bored after his daily job. He's truly a nerd at heart, but can be rather romantic.
