Weapon(s): Greatsword or Halberd
Powers: Edward has many powers involving his physical strength. He is able to wear the heaviest of armor and yet still run at a speed faster than average soldiers can even with light armor. He can smell an ambush when he believes one could occur, and is rather difficult to capture due to his strength with weapons - especially heavy weaponry.
Weaknesses: Edward is terribly afraid of others viewing his terribly scars. He would die for his king even if it was futile to protect him. He isn't the quickest being alive, but still decent, however he can still be overcome by a swifter fellow. His pride makes him persistent and that can be used against him as he could fall into a trap - and sometimes he wants to.

The Noven Kingdom, ruled by King Cedric, was bustling with trade and prospering with life in 1113, the year that Edward was born. The Noven Kingdom sits next to the ocean, allowing easy trade with others and even providing the chance for the kingdom to have a navy. The capital sits next to the ocean in fact and is the largest trading place of the kingdom. A bunch of forests and mountains are littered throughout the region as well except for the farms that live on the lovely soil in the plains. Everything was perfect until King Cedric was assassinated by his wife, Queen Emma, who had been a spy for the Erwen Kingdom next door. Prince Jeffroy, Cedric's son, was sixteen when he had to take the throne and have his mother executed for high treason. Her head was placed on the top of the castle for several weeks until the unbearable stench of her rotting head had it put it the coffin with Emma's body.

When Jeffroy became the new king, Edward was only two. He didn't know of these things nor could he understand them, but his life was directed toward other matters anyway. Born from a family of nobles, Edward was entrusted with not failing or ruining the family name as at birth he was announced by his parents that he was going to a magnificent politician. Edward was then thrown upon knowledge by multiple tutors, and he hated every minute of it. He loved learning, but he didn't want to end up like his parents who were snobby aristocrats. He wanted to put his family name to good use and do something nobody in his family had done in a long time. So, he began training at nights when he was suppose to be in bed with a wooden sword he carved out for himself. He continued to be taught by his tutors so he would eventually put that knowledge to good use, but not as a politician who kissed the King's ass all the time. He knew what he was going to be, and that was a remarkable warrior that the rival kingdom of Erwen would fear.

Jeffroy declared War after his father's death upon Erwen, and the war had horrifying results thanks to a king who had not much advice on warfare. The war was a stalemate for sixteen years straight until Edward became eighteen and signed up for the military without his parent's permission. Instead of facing them and their wraith, Edward simply sneaked out one night and left his family a note of where he would be and what he was doing. It was finally time he was free from their annoying grasp on his life. He had decided what to do and there was no running back now. He was prepared for anything - or so he believed. He eventually got involved with a regiment and trained with real weapons, and chose heavier weapons but favored the greatsword. A shield does nothing when a hulking brute bashes through it with his massive blade! Edward thought he was prepared for the fight conflict against Erwen, but he was wrong. He survived it with the exception of traumatizing memories, frightful nightmares, and terrible scars that forever bled in his opinion. He will never forget killing so many enemies and seeing the fear in their eyes, while having gore sprayed on him and watching his fellow comrades die before him by another man's blade.

After the first battle, Edward gained fame as he was renowned for his ability to fight and even started to train others. His strength was spectacular and was put to the test in another battle, one which involved his hometown. When Edward heard the battle had already begun, he remembered his family and rushed toward the town. He cut through the invaders and eventually arrived at his home, discovering it engulfed with flames while his father was lying outside it with a sword through his chest. Edward ran to his father, and found that he was alive but for only a minute. He told Edward that he wasn't furious that he left, since it seemed now he was the only one who could save the family name. He had to or else it would be all for nothing. Afterwards, Edward fought off the Erwen army and mourned over the loss of his family. He happy attitude changed to a more stern one which only made him like some killing machine.

Edward was given control of a regiment of soldiers, and helped established plans for the downfall of the Erwen Kingdom. In a matter of three months, Edward successfully conquered Erwen and beheaded the king there. King Jeffroy invited Edward over for a grand feast, and rewarded him with treasures and a job to serve Jeffroy as the city's captain of the guard and even the king's bodyguard. Edward gracefully accepted, and now in the year 1130, he remains at that job. He is known around the world as a deadly and worthy opponent and feared by most. His dreams have finally become true but at the cost of his family and the scars that covered his body. Now, Edward awaits for something else to arrive in his life as he protects Jeffroy and Noven's capital city, Northorn.
