Ava Winters had a mostly normal childhood until around the age of 10 when her father noticed she seemed to like girls after reading her diary and learning about a crush that she had. This caused a chasm in her family's relationship and at the age of 16 her parents got divorced because they didn't see eye to eye anymore. Ava blames the failed marriage on herself, but it wasn't necessarily her fault but her father's true colors had come out at a very young age and while her mother wasn't necessarily supportive she wasn't mean to her daughter either. She tried to play it off in her highschool years, jumping from boyfriend to boyfriend but this never made her happy, it just made her family stop questioning her. Now as an adult she is attending college for photopgrahy and other arts and wants to reconnect with herself.
