JoJo's Bizarre Adventure stands explained

Okay. I'll only explain the stands in part 3 to part 5 since there's none in part 1 and 2. Stands are acquired as far as I know in two different ways. Strong mentality (Only one person in the anime was able to do this as far as I know), being born with it, or stabbed with a special golden decorated arrow. People stabbed with the arrow have a risk of either dying or obtaining a stand. A stand is a reflection on someone's personality. It'll have some characteristics that their personality has. One person such as Okuyasu likes money and narrow minded so his stand has currency symbols along with a narrow like face. Stands have abilities that are completely unique to them. Some are strong and some are weak. Some stands can travel up to 50 meters or completely remote. Some stands aren't humanoid. Some are armor like or there can be more than one but small like "Bad Company". All of the stands are named after songs or a band/artist.

Most common distance for a stand is I believe is 2 meters. If a stand receives damage, the user will receive damage as well. There are also liquid like stands as well like Metallica ( research in your own time). However most common stands are humanoid and travel up to 2 meters. The absolute main way for someone to obtain a stand is through an arrow or being born with one.
