Songs Turned To Plots

This has a potential to be a lot of plot ideas so I apologize in advance! I am posting Country, Taylor Swift and Rock songs over time. I will take requests and suggestions, also most of these can be fxf friendly!! Here are the first few, more edits to come!

Country

1. Greatest Love Story by Lanco: High school sweethearts, a ‘bad’ boy and the sweet girl, sneaking around where they probably went a little too far. They were making plans for forever, that is until the girl of their dreams goes off to college and he stays in their hometown working a blue collar job. After four years, and a failed college boyfriend, she returns home and they go out to see if they are still compatible. Those same feelings burned bright, so he got down on one knee and they became the ‘Greatest Love Story’ their town had ever seen.

2. Marry Me by Thomas Rhett: A little girl has always dreamed of their wedding day…Sometimes it does not go as planned. They are best friends, they are always going to be best friends. An almost kiss in high school that scared them both but never helped the feelings from growing. He always planned to finally ask her out, that is until he gets the wedding invite. Now he has to attend the wedding and try not to let it show that he wants to be the one to marry her… (Two Possible Endings!)

3. Don’t Take the Girl by Tim Mcgraw: He never wanted to like the girl next door, he would beg to never spend time with her. That is until they are teens and he falls for her hard. A simple date to the movies, ends in a mugging, he willingly gives up everything just to keep her safe. ‘Don’t Take the Girl’ Five years later, they are married with a baby on the way. They thought life would be perfect, until she has complications in her birth, when the doctors were not sure she would make it. He begs and prays to God ‘Don’t take the girl’.

4. Austin by Blake Shelton: A relationship ends quickly when she ups and leaves with no explanation, he assumes she goes back to Austin. A year later she thinks back on him and finally gives him a call which goes to voicemail and at the end of it he left a special message. “And P.S. If this is Austin, I still love you.” It takes a few days but she ends up leaving a voicemail with her number and that is all. He finally calls in a few days and gets what he assumes is a voicemail saying her heart was still his, and she still loves him.

5. I Got the Boy by Jana Kramer: An engagement announcement leaves her living out her memories and thinking of his future with his new wife. High School sweethearts, they talked about the future and he even proposed with his class ring. Obviously something happens that had them break up and now years later he is marrying a new woman.

6. I Got A Car by George Strait: A quick romance, a man driving through and a girl who never thought she would leave. A simple drive turning into a road trip around the country until a surprise pregnancy has them settling down in some random coastal town. That all started with “I Got a Car.”

7. 18 inches by Lauren Alaina: They were fresh out of high school and looking for an escape from their one stop light town. She leaves a note and sneaks out to meet him in his truck with their minds set on California. They had nothing waiting for them, no plans on what to do, but they were young and in love. A year later they are struggling together, working to make it, and he saves up for a ring and a courthouse wedding. They were barely keeping their bills paid but the two 20 somethings wanted a baby, so they kept trying until they finally had one. Because there is no greater distance than the 18 inches from your head to your heart.

8. Clear as Day by Scotty McCreary: (A Sad Ending!) Two people falling in love… intrical moments that even the memories are Clear As Day. The first moment they talked, in the parking lot after a football game. Their first kiss, a random party at a friend’s house. Their first I Love You… When he gave her his class ring as a promise ring, she kissed him like he had never been kissed before… Their first time together.. Then the night that ended it all. He kissed her good night as she climbed into her car, she promised to call him later but never made the call. Instead he gets a call from her parents, she was in a car accident and did not make it.
