Kaze Hardgrove (Back Story)
It was night of January 14, 2001 at 11:50pm when a tragedy happened. A pregnant wife who was going to give birth any day now would lose her husband, the love of her life, to a war that was raging overseas in France. The mother of the unborn would be devastated when she heard the news on a phone call from the commanding officer. She cried so much that she went into labor. Her sister, who was staying over that night, rushed to her side and called for an ambulance. After a few minutes, the ambulance took the pregnant mother to the hospital. She began having contractions that was seconds apart. Upon arriving to the hospital, the ambulance worker was telling the doctors that she was in labor. They rushed her to the delivery room as she announced her water broke. Doctor's prepared the mother to give birth to her baby. She took a few deep breaths and pushed as doctors check to see the baby's progress. After a couple minutes, she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The doctor given the baby boy to the mother and she cried happy tears. She was thinking of a name for the baby baby boy then she thought of the perfect name. "I shall call him....Kaze." The mother said with a smile upon her face.
As years passed as the little boy, Kaze, was now five years old. He was attending head start. He was a smart child and everyone loved him, including the teachers. One day after school, Kaze went home and saw the door opened. Walking inside his home, he witnessed his mom being taken away by mental health workers. Kaze didn't know what happened, until one of the workers told Kaze that she was in a bad mental state and had to be taken away. Seeing his mother being taken away, Kaze ran to his mother hand held onto her tightly. He didn't want his mother to leave, but suddenly, Child Services let the mental health workers take his mother away while holding onto Kaze. Kaze yelled as he ran to his mother, but Child Service took Kaze to their car before he was able to reach the van which had his mother inside. When the van drove off, Child Services drove off behind the van and went in a separate direction. Kaze was on his knees looking at the van go in another direction with his mother inside. After driving sometime, the car arrived to an orphanage. and the workers got out the car with Kaze. The orphanage, Happy Hearts Home, looked nice on the outside and had friendly workers and children.
The first day of Kaze's time at Happy Hearts Home was pretty enjoyable. He got to meet the people running the orphanage and even some of the other children. The day went perfect for Kaze, but that was the last time he had a perfect day at the orphanage. While Kaze was asleep, a staff worker came into the room at 5:15am and began abusing Kaze for no reason before leaving. Kaze had bruises upon his left and right leg, a broken left jaw and broken left arm. He was crying in pain as nobody came to check on him to see what was wrong. Falling back to sleep in pain, he heard a ghostly voice call his name then he suddenly woke up. "Wh....who's there?" Kaze asked as he wipes his tears. Looking around, the boy would continue wondering where the voice came from. Suddenly, a spectre appeared in front of him and begin to tell Kaze that it could protect him from anyone or cause harm to a person. After hearing that, Kaze nodded his head accepting the spectre so he could get revenge on the person that abused him. The spectre possessed Kaze's body and spoke only for Kaze to hear as the spectre heals him. "Let's make the world hell. For now on, you will go by Anon." The spectre said. "Right." Kaze said that one word agreeing to the spectre. Getting out of bed, the spectre explained two of it's abilities that will be useful which was stealth and soul drain. Kaze thought those was scary, but fun as well. The spectre instructed him on how to use stealth and Kaze followed the instruction perfectly. He saw his target, the staff that abused him and Kaze would walk towards his prey. The spectre instructed him on how to use soul drain. It was an easy ability to use, but also deadly. Kaze touched the prey's arm and watched as his abuser turned just a bone with skin. After completing the task, Kaze hurried back to his room and got in the bed as he smirked reappearing then falls asleep.
Days passed and it was the day where the orphans get adopted. There were many people from around the world that came to Happy Hearts Home in order to find the perfect child. While potential parents was checking out the children and getting to know them. A mysterious man who was wearing a business suit would be there as well, but he had his sights on Kaze then he would talk to the other people that was there. Kaze was standing under a tree with his back against it and wasn't feeling social. Suddenly, an older orphan walked over and started to bully Kaze cause he wanted to hurt him. Kaze took the abuse, but gave an evil smirk to the bully. Without thinking, he placed his hand on the bully's wrist and began to suck his soul drain ability. The potential parents screamed in fear, but the mysterious man from earlier grew more interested in Kaze. "I'll take that boy over there." The mysterious male said as he began to walk from the staff over to Kaze. Kaze looked up at the male and blinked his eyes. "Would you like to come home and live with me? It's a wonderful home. What's your name?" The mysterious male said to him. The spectre was telling Kaze to go by his new name and leave his birth name in the past. "Anon. My name is Anon." He said to the mysterious male. "Pleasure to meet you Anon. I'm Raven Ash and I would like to be your father." Raven said to Anon. Raven held out his hand to Anon with a smile upon his face. Anon smiled back and grasped Raven's hand knowing he will have someone to care about him.
Years passed and the male, Anon, would be living in Rome, Italy in a beautiful mansion. He was 17 now and was graduating high school within a week. Anon was trying to practice his Italian more to become highly fluent in it cause he wanted to fully forget the English language. His father, Raven, was out on a business trip, but supposed to return home the following weekend. Anon was curious on what his adopted father does for a living to have a luxurious home such as this. It been on his mind for years, but he never mustered up the courage to ask him. A few days passed and it was Anon's graduation day. All the graduating students and families came to the graduation location which was at an stadium. Anon looked around for his father and sighed as he didn't see him. Suddenly, he saw a group of people wearing masks on their face entering the stadium. He didn't let them ruin his special day. As the students named was being called one by one, everyone walked on stage to receive their diplomas. When it was his turn to get his diploma, Anon heard the people cheer loudly, but the group of people in the mask cheer louder than everyone else. Before the graduation ended, one member of the group of masked people came to the stage and said that the group would be paying for everybody collage for their four years if they choose to attend. A day passed since his graduation and Anon when to talk to his father, Raven, about what he do for a living and asked why he wasn't at the graduation. Raven looked at Anon and smiled softly. Standing up, Raven, walked over to Anon and looked at him in the eyes. "But son. I was there. I saw how you looked back and was suspicious. Come with me and I will show you everything." Raven said to Anon.
Raven and Anon left home and was riding in a limo to an undisclosed location. As they was riding in the limo, Raven poured Anon a glass of champagne and gave it to him. Anon took the glass of champagne and looked at Raven. "A toast to you graduating and starting a new chapter in life." Raven told Anon. "To a new chapter in life." Anon said as the sound of a clink from the glasses touching was heard. The both of them drunk their champagne and talked to each other for a while. Suddenly, they arrived at a large building. Anon looked at the building and looked at Raven. Soon as the limo came to a complete stop, the driver got out the car and opened the door for the both of them. They got out the limo and walked inside the building side by side. Once inside the building, Anon looked around amazed as Raven looked at Anon. "Welcome to Masquerade Matrix!" Raven told Anon while Anon looked at Raven amazed. As the both of them got on the elevator, Raven and Anon talked business about Masquerade Matrix. Reaching the top floor of the building, the both of them got off the elevator as Raven's secretary came to him to inform him that he has a few new clients that would like to speak to him.
"Excuse me while I go talk to the clients. Have a look around. My office is the last room down the hall to the left." Raven told Anon as he left to go talk to the clients in the conference room. Anon nodded as he began to take a look around the building as he was curious about the building. He looked at the different artworks on the top floor and talked to staff members. After some time, he started to talk to other people that worked at the company in a friendly manner. Once he was done, he walked to his father's office and sat down in a chair. Minutes later, Raven walked into his office and saw Anon. The two of them talked to each then Raven asked Anon would he like to join Masquerade Matrix. Anon has a mental conversation with his spectre half and they came to a decision that they would agree with each other to join. "I will join Masquerade Matrix!" Anon said with a smile. They shook hands then Raven explained the ritual to fully be a member of Masquerade Matrix. After the explanation, Anon nodded his head and stood up along with Raven. Raven led Anon to the elevator and down to a secret level of the building. Getting off the elevator, Anon looked around and saw people preparing for the ceremony. Anon and Raven walked to the center of the room approaching the pentagram that was made in the center of the floor.
The people that was there would lay Anon down on the table and strapped him to the table. As the table elevated so Anon can look ahead, Raven opened a spellbook along with the two witches. "Listen and repeat what you hear with your eyes closed." Raven told Anon. Listening to the directions, Anon waited for them to start reading from the book. Suddenly, the first witch starts reciting the first part of the mind control spell and Anon repeated it. As he repeated the words, he starts to feel something strange going on with his body. The second with read the second part of the mind control spell and Anon repeated the part of the spell. He starts to feel his body become controlled by an evil presence as his body starts to shake. Raven said the final part of the spell and Anon repeated it as his body violently shook for a few minutes after fully repeating the entire spell. After his body stopped shaking, he was instructed by Raven to open his eyes. Anon opened his eyes and looked around. He felt different but at the same time, he felt like a brand new person. He was under a trance then he heard a witch speak to him. "You shall do what either of us says." Said the first witch. "At no point shall you disobey our wishes." Said the second witch. Raven grabbed a mask and walked over to Anon and placed the mask on Anon's face and spoke. "Welcome to Masquerade Matrix son. At no point shall you remove your mask unless you're switching it out for a different ask. Remember what I said. Welcome to the group. Now go out and be free to take all the assassination jobs you like" Raven said to Anon.
