Sutton grew up in Nashville, TN. She bounced from home to home in the foster care system until she was sixteen and then found her last final foster family who kept her until she aged out of the system at eighteen. Determined to make a life for herself she decided she wanted to be a lawyer. Through law school she lived with two other law students, Connor and Eric. She had met them in class and coincidently they were all looking for a place to live, being law students it made it easier to have fellow students as their roommates.
