"His parents had died in a car crash in Tunisia when he was 14 years old in Massachusetts. After the event, Mitch began to have "discipline problems" as referred to by the CIA, having himself being kicked out of three boarding schools."

His goal:

"After the attack, he considered joining the CIA right after the attack, however, he made the decision to pursue the terrorist, Mansur on his own, as he believed he could achieve the task. He rigorously trained himself in knife skills, gun firing/marksmanship, and Martial Arts."
