Backstory: Being the bastard child of minor nobility had its perks. Good education, followed by a paid for bards' college.
And then unable to return home at age ten, as your Elvish mother is ashamed of you and doesn't want to see you, and your father died under some uncommon circumstances.
So basically orphaned, Brendan would spend the next few years at the college, honing his craft and learning a multitude of musical instruments, before setting out and travelling the kingdoms, trying to be that little bit of sunshine someone needed!
