She met Ivy when Ivy sensed a disturbance in the plants around the forest and believed it was Jason Woodroe or someone else trying to take over her plant world. Though, she discovered it was merely Jade tending to the plants, and using her own magic to help them grow, and eliminate the darkness to give them enough sunlight. They started talking and became best friends.
