Rules

❛ where have you been?
do you know when you're coming back? ❜

    ( . . . RULES . . . )

      ( && GOD MODING )

      I cannot stress how serious I am about this rule. No one appreciates
      someone deciding they can take someone's hard work and effort
      control them. You must understand that I put a lot of time and work
      in thinking about how my character would react to each situation
      and how she would feel about everything. So please, do not try to
      assume you know my character better than me, and know how they
      would react. If you do not like how I made her react, then honestly,
      maybe it's best we don't write together. You could write a novel on
      your own instead, yeah?

      ( && LITERACY )

      Text talk in writing is not okay. I would prefer to not have any 'u'
      instead of 'you' or ' b4 ' instead of 'before'. I'm not going to be a
      grammar or spelling nazi with you, and I will not scold you if your
      English is not perfect, but try as much as you can to make sure it's
      clear and basically literate! You can use 'text talk' if our characters
      are texting as part of the storyline, but other than that, it really is
      unfavored and I will not appreciate it, as I try to be as literate as I
      can be all the time!

      ( && MESSAGING )

      I'm less assertive about this rule, but I do favour it when people put
      it into consideration! When I browse for people to add, and add you
      I will message you, I promise. This is why I expect that if
      someone adds me, they send me a message first in hopes that you've
      checked out my profile and are actually interested in writing with me.
      However, if you do not message me, I will not attack you or remove
      you from my friend-list. I'll try to remember that you added me, and
      hopefully will send you a message myself some days later! I do hope
      you message me first, though, if you add me and know that I will not
      bite!

      ( && COLLABORATION )

      So basically, this is roleplay. And roleplay normally involves more
      than one person. I'd very much prefer it if we work as a team with
      coming up with ideas together! I want us to put our heads together
      to think of a plot that I'm sure would be much better than if just one
      of us came up with it. If you don't have any ideas, though, I won't be
      mean to you or deny us the opportunity of writing together. I will do
      my best to come up (or find something online) and maybe then we
      can try to tweak it a little together. I really love hearing ideas, so
      please give me the honour of hearing your ideas!

      ( && SMUT )

      If your plot is mainly considered about smut/erot*ca, I'm very sorry
      but I'm not interested. I'm sure there are other people who like that,
      it's just not for me. I don't mind writing these scenes in the midst of
      our storyline, when it's meaningful and needed, but other than that,
      I will not do an entire plot or story centered around that. It's not
      interesting or appealing to me, and I will not change my mind about it.

      ( && ACTIVITY )

      I am generally very active (or was anyway). I try my best, I promise,
      and if I'm going to be gone for a really long time I will let you know!
      I'm a university student, so it's very hard for me sometimes to have
      time to respond and get on the site. I will do my best when I'm on
      breaks though and during the weekends. I do not EVER push for
      replies, and you can take as long as you need always. If I send you
      a check up message, it's 100% to check up on your well being and
      make sure you're doing okay. It is never to urge you to reply to me
      because I really don't ever force anyone to write. It's not right. So,
      please, take as much time as you need, okay?

      ( && PLOTS )

      Unless we know each other, and have written with each other before,
      do not send me random starters. I get so confused and don't know
      what to do. I prefer discussing and knowing what we're going to do,
      especially because most of the time I don't know the character I'm
      going to write my character with, and so I don't know what kind of
      genre we're doing, or what triggers you may have, or anything really!
      To avoid confusion and this tragic frustration of mine, let's discuss
      before-hand! It's very much appreciated!

      ( && LENGTH )

      I will do my best to always match up to whatever you write me so we
      can feel like we're on the same level, but I do require a minimum of
      a decent paragraph. I'm not a fan of one liners, and I do believe they
      slow down the story, and drag it on for too long. Just one paragraph
      is my minimum and I don't have a maximum, but the longer it is, the
      more time it'll take me to get to you! I will literally write thousands of
      words though if that's your preference, so never worry about 'too
      much'.

      ( && ADMIN )

      I'm REALLY shy as a person, and it takes me a while before I can
      tell someone I meet online who I am or anything about me. So if
      you want to tell me your name or anything about you, go ahead! But
      don't expect me to do it in return. If I want to do that, I'll do it in my
      own time and you really won't be able to force me to do otherwise.
      I'm nice, though, I promise. If you talk to me about anything, I will
      respond! And if you need someone to talk to, my messages are
      always open! I'd love to be your friend!
