1) Muse A was one of the smarter kids in the school, always so smart and quiet sitting in front of the class, hoping to get called on. Their school was holding an end of the year camping trip and the rain was strong that night. Muse B was one of the badder and more resistant in the school When Muse A and Muse B were sent to find some more sticks for the fire, it started to rain terribly hard. Unable to get back to the camp, the two found an abandoned cabin to take shelter in, but it didn't look like the rain would let up any time soon. Your phones were left in your bags back at camp, so calling for help wasn't an option.
2) Muse A needs to get out. All their life, they have stayed in the same castle, never allowed to leave on account of being royalty. Having grown tired of this restricted life, Muse A decided to sneak out, putting on the most casual clothing they could find, packing a small bag of food and leaving. The next morning, there was panic in the kingdom. Where had their prince/princess disappeared to? Muse B, a royal guard, was assigned to go out and find Muse A. However, when they found them, instead of bringing them back home, Muse B was dragged along for the ride by Muse A. So much for returning the prince/princess.
3) Muse A lives a pretty good life. They have good friends, get good grades, have a loving family and have a clear path into college/university. Their life was going smoothly until Muse B showed up. Muse B is a foster kid who was taken in by Muse A's neighbours who often took in children until they could find their own way in life. Muse B was the type of foster child who ran away often, got into trouble and was frequently brought home in a police car. How did this effect Muse A though? Well, for starters, their second story bedroom windows faced each other. They also went to the same school, and several classes together and Muse B went out of his way to make life difficult for Muse A. One night, Muse A wakes up to a loud thump, followed by cursing. Looking out their window, towards the ground, they see Muse B standing up, having clearly fallen when trying to sneak out.
4) Muse A is a powerful warlord and a king. They have taken over kingdom after kingdom, raging war throughout the land to expand their territory and command. Muse B is a prince/princess who lives in a kingdom ruled by their kind, loving father. As the threat of war was thrown towards their kingdom however, they had a choice. Offer Muse B to Muse A as a peace offering, a sign of alliance, or, suffer like every kingdom has before them. Muse A wanted an answer by the next morning, so that night, a large meeting was held with all the royals, including Muse B and the royal guards to discuss what action was to be taken. The knights insisted on fighting, but would that truly be best for the kingdom?
5) Muse A was a rebel in the school. They had a reputation for doing to wrong thing, skipping classes, etc. Muse B was your typical well behaved nerd, handed things in on time, always put their hand up, etc. One takes interest in the other, but it isn't what you think. It's Muse B that has taken to Muse A. Muse A was minding their own business when Muse B approached and asked them out. Muse A rejects them instantly, saying they have a reputation, but Muse B won't have it. Muse B compliments them, hangs around them and tries to win Muse A's heart, while all Muse A wants is to avoid being seen as a softy because they're hanging around a pure hearted goody goody.
6) Muse A is a single parent of a very young child, just getting back out there and dating because it's terribly lonely sometimes. They're out at a bar and meet Muse B, who's got a reputation for being a heartbreaker. One thing leads to another and Muse A invites Muse B home for a one-night stand.
That morning, Muse B awakens to Muse A's very small child, sitting on their chest, asking if they are their new parent.
7) Muse A and Muse B went to the same high school. They didn't really talk to each other, only really knowing each others names and such. Muse A had a part time job at a theme park in town, doing whatever jobs needed to be done. Tonight was Halloween, and Muse B's friends dragged them out to the theme park to do some spooky activities. One of the activities on the list? The haunted house. That was where Muse A was working that night. Covered in scary makeup, throat looking to truly be slit, Muse A stumbled out in front of Muse B, reaching out for them desperately. Muse B screamed and fell back onto the floor, cutting their arm on a loose nail sticking out somewhere. Recognising Muse B, Muse A couldn't help but laugh and hold out a hand to help them up.
8) Muse A is a cop, a really good one at that. Muse B is a crime boss, a really well known one. Muse A has been trying to locate and arrest Muse B for the last three years. Muse B has been using these three years to eliminate other crime bosses, seemingly to come out on the top of the food chain. The plot twist though? Muse A and Muse B are married. Muse A has never seen the crime boss' face, so they had no idea it was Muse B. Muse B knew that Muse A was trying to find and arrest them, and like a good husband/wife, supported them every step of the way. So in the end, why was Muse B doing this? To prevent worse criminals coming into town that could possibly hurt Muse A.
9) Muse A was rich. They had everything they could possibly want and need thanks to the family business being so successful. They wanted a new car? They got it. Wanted to go on an expensive holiday? Sure. Wanted to date someone of lower status? Hell. No. While Muse A was rich, Muse B was not. Muse B worked for Muse A's family, doing all sorts of tasks. One day they could be cleaning the pool, the next they would be tending to the gardens and the next, they could be running errands. Perhaps it was because Muse A knew they weren't allowed to, that made them want to make Muse B their own. Or perhaps it was their own greed, too accustomed to getting whatever they wanted.
10) Muse A had run away from home. They didn't care about finishing high school, didn't care that they were on their own with minimal money and belongings, they just had to get out of there. Muse A caught a bus to get as far away as they could, before continuing by foot. They only bought small snacks with their money and drank from taps to not waste any of the money they had left. One day, they come across Muse B, a young adult, two or three years older than Muse A. Muse B had come from a rich family, but didn't look like they had anything of value. They dressed casually, almost lazily at times and clearly lived in their car, one of those old ones where you could only seat two people and the back was big enough for a mattress. They seemed content though. Muse B explained that they didn't enjoy having everything handed to them all the time, and wanted to do something interesting, so they decided to live on the road, occasionally receiving money from their family to keep them going until they decided to settle somewhere. Out of the blue, Muse B offers to let Muse A come along.
11) Muse A was the lead singer for a famous band that was currently on tour. Tours weren't all fun and games though, and Muse A was beginning to stress a little from all the work. That's where Muse B came in. Muse B was a huge fan of the band, especially loving Muse A's voice. So, at one of Muse A's destinations, they made eye contact with Muse B on stage and made a decision. That was how they were going to de-stress. After the concert, Muse A got someone to retrieve Muse B and when they were face to face, offered to buy Muse B a drink or two.
12) Muse A is four years older than Muse B. Muse A and B were childhood friends, always playing together whenever they had the chance. One day, when Muse A graduated high school, they left town without so much as a goodbye to go to university. Years later, Muse B has finally reached their final year of high school. They walked into their classroom, sat down and the moment class started, in rushed the new teacher. Muse A.
