hey y'all! i'm nightshade, or you're welcome to just call me by my actual name, magnolia/maggie if its less awkward~ while this is a new account, i'm not new to this site and certainly not new to roleplaying. i've been roleplaying for...*calculator noises*...15 damn years. i'm practically a senior citizen at this point. i'm typically a multi-para/novella writer, but i don't force myself to meet a certain word count if the scenario doesn't warrant it. i do pride myself in incorporating a lot of detail no matter the word count, though! i might not be the best writer from a technical standpoint but at the end of the day, this is just a hobby for me and it's supposed to be fun. :) i mainly do romance plots in historical settings, and i'm not shy about dark subject matter. after all, history is full of dark subject matter! i'm still willing to write in modern settings as long as there's an interesting twist.
please take the time to read through my rules, writing preferences, and maybe skim over my characters' bios if you'd like - i work hard on them and always appreciate when someone gives them some attention. ;D
