Alrighty guys here's the quick run down:
My name is Lyra and I am by no means new to RP. I’ve been writing for… 9+ years? A really long time, basically. Having said that, I am a fairly busy person so I don’t log on or write replies every single day. I’m in college and I work almost full time at a physically demanding job so I get burnt out a lot.
Furthermore, I like to keep a balance so I occasionally prioritize my social life or other hobbies over writing (as much as I LOVE to write, I don’t always have the mental energy). To put it bluntly, if you don’t like slow repliers, I’m probably not your gal. I do my best to reply to everyone AT LEAST once every two weeks, but I never make any promises cause life happens. Ya feel? Yeah? Cool.
Personally, I prefer to write in 3rd person limited. Also, I write multi para (3+ paragraphs) to novella (8+ paragraphs) and I love love love details. Doesn’t matter if the details are about the scenery, character appearance, emotions, or events: give it to me! You can find more information about my style and preferences on my blog, specifically in the post titled “Rules.” Though I’m sure reading my character bios will also give you a feel for what my style is like.
As far as genres go, I’m open to almost anything but like most people I have preferences. I lean toward the following:
• Action
• Adventure
• Apocalyptic
• Cyberpunk
• Romance (subplot)
• Steampunk
• Supernatural (not the show, though I watch it)
• Survival
• Suspense/Thriller
Basically, I am guaranteed to enjoy anything that involves combat and or any story that gets super intense (like life or death situations). I will do 18+ themes EXCEPT for er*t*ca (you can get more details about that in my Rules). But to reiterate I’m open to trying almost anything since I do enjoy expanding my horizons and challenging my skill set.
