Melissa was sent to an adoptive home after her mother was murdered in their home when she was only eight-years-old. Her mother allowed Fenrir to see his daughter through the years when Melissa was a lot younger so she wouldn't really have been able to remember him. But when her mother found out about how Fenrir was a werewolf and what he has done to innocent people, she was going to report him to the ministry and during a heated argument with him she called both him and Melissa monsters in the heat of the moment when she was yelling in his face and he killed her while Melissa was in her room taking a nap. But Melissa saw him walk out of her mother’s room covered in blood when she got up to get some water, but she never knew her father was the one to kill her mother she had always thought a stranger broke into their home and killed her... Melissa was adopted by a family friend who turned out to be a squib. But she loved them like they were her parents, Melissa has had nightmares in the past but her nightmare came to like in third year with the dementors and the Boggart.
