Small Village, United States
In a small, quiet village nestled at the edge of a mysterious forest, there was a legend told among the elders — a legend of a sacred flower that bloomed once every century. This flower, known as the Moonblossom, was said to hold ancient magic, capable of granting life itself. But no one had seen it bloom in generations, and it was thought to be just a bedtime story told to children.

One misty morning, as the villagers went about their day, the sky darkened unexpectedly. The air grew heavy, filled with the sweet fragrance of unseen flowers. In the heart of the forest, an old gardener named Willow noticed something peculiar. A glimmer of silver light shone through the dense trees, illuminating a single patch of land. Curiosity tugged at his heart, and he made his way towards the light.

There, standing amidst the undergrowth, he found the Moonblossom. Its petals were the color of moonlight, glowing softly in the dim forest. But what surprised Willow most wasn’t the flower itself — it was the tiny figure nestled inside its petals, like a newborn cradled by nature. It was a boy, small and delicate, his skin smooth like a petal, his hair as green as fresh leaves. The flower’s magic had given life to a child.

Willow gently lifted the boy from the flower, and as he did, the Moonblossom withered, its purpose fulfilled. The boy’s eyes fluttered open, and he gazed up at Willow with a look of innocent curiosity. He couldn’t speak, but the gardener felt an immediate connection with him, as if the boy’s thoughts were woven directly into his heart. Willow decided to name him Petal, for that was how he had come into the world.

As Petal grew, it became clear that he was unlike any other child. He had a deep connection with nature; flowers bloomed in his presence, vines curled protectively around him, and he could make plants grow with a mere touch. He didn’t need words to communicate; the animals of the forest understood him, and so did Willow. They became inseparable — the old gardener and the boy born of a blossom.
